My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Okay, so after much procrastination and a few comments about how I should fill this out ...

I was born and raised in Chicago. I've lived in Paris, NYC and LA, but but always come home and outside of some long projects abroad and around the country would love to stay here. I've got a couple of degrees (most from Northwestern and my JD from Loyola). I have two French Bull dogs who act as surrogate kids for me (Yes, they have Xmas stockings). It's very important to me that whoever I'm with likes animals. I think dogs are a constant reminder of what unconditional love is and that it's a magnificent thing to have in our lives.

As for my personality: I like to think I'm witty, smart, logical, creative and an all around "nice guy"(Who doesn't, right?). I'm super competitive and can be stubborn at times. I'm a far better human being after 10AM and a large espresso. I'm sentimental.

I love to shock people and tend not to give a f#ck about being politically correct. I'm a liberal Republican (I leave this to you to figure out) To quote Henry Drummond: " I don't swear just for the hell of it. Language is a poor enough means of communication. I think we should use all the words we've got. Besides, there are damn few words that anybody understands. " Oh, and I quote a lot. I believe in the power of words and feel if someone has said it perfectly, why mess with it.

I would love to meet that someone special. You know: when it just clicks. A person who makes you smile when you're at your worst and who makes "good times" seem like "great times".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an ex-litigator - turned playwright & stage director, turned filmmaker & entertainment lawyer ... meaning I work in the entertainment industry. I have started and not finished writing "the great American Novel" more times than I can count.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Problem solving on the fly, polishing scripts, mingling, getting strange animals to like me (domestic ones ...not like White-faced Saki Monkeys and Armadillos). Singing Elvis songs at karaoke ... I'm not sure if this should go into the most private thing I'm willing to admit here?
