I was born and raised in Chicago. I've lived in Paris, NYC and LA, but but always come home and outside of some long projects abroad and around the country would love to stay here. I've got a couple of degrees (most from Northwestern and my JD from Loyola). I've been divorced for about 6 years now (no kids) and have two French Bull dogs who act as surrogate kids for me (Yes, they have Xmas stockings). It's very important to me that whoever I'm with likes animals. I think dogs are a constant reminder of what unconditional love is and that it's a magnificent thing to have in our lives.
As for my personality: I like to think I'm witty, smart, logical, creative and an all around "nice guy"(Who doesn't, right?). I'm loyal to a fault to my friends and family. I'm a momma's boy. I'm super competitive and can be stubborn at times. I'm a far better human being after 10AM and a large espresso. I'm sentimental. I have a wonderful eclectic circle of friends and acquaintances. I can be comfortable in almost any social situation and I usually will literally get asked by strangers: "What haven't you done?" To wit, I have developed several "dirty" responses of varying degrees of funny. (actor, musician, pilot, body guard, prize fight, lawyer, construction worker, prosecutor, crook, cook, night club owner, bar tender, bouncer, writer, poet, director, producer ... you get the idea).
I love to shock people and tend not to give a f#ck about being politically correct. I'm a liberal Republican (I leave this to you to figure out) To quote Henry Drummond: " I don't swear just for the hell of it. Language is a poor enough means of communication. I think we should use all the words we've got. Besides, there are damn few words that anybody understands. " Oh, and I quote a lot. I believe in the power of words and feel if someone has said it perfectly, why mess with it.
I would love to meet that someone special. You know: when it just clicks. A person who makes you smile when you're at your worst and who makes "good times" seem like "great times".
Lastly,(for the Miggs-Bryer people) I'm ENFP and have been told I'm a "great catch" (Now granted, that was by my grandmother, so you probably want to take that with a large grain of salt).
