My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
first a gender disclaimer: okcupid only lets me choose between man and woman, but i'm neither -- am trans or queer (if you are clueless but otherwise like my description, ask and i'll explain). i've put myself on as a man because dating men who are looking for the woman in me invariably leads to failure and the bizarre (for example he panics that we'll look gay, i freak out that we'll look straight). so i thought i will try if there are any people here who are also fairly queer, flexible, and may appreciate someone who has an unconventional gender.

concerning the self-summary, if you can read the above and it's not gibberish to you, that's probably already reason enough to have a chat. :) i'm not looking strictly for dates (also because to be honest i don't have a clue how to date as a queer) but for new encounters.

you can deduce that i will be an unconventional person in many ways, though i wouldn't necessarily choose to be that way. a mixture of sensitive, courageous (other people think), experimental, sometimes shy, sometimes rude (people say :), a lot of the time restless, sometime bored quickly, sometimes obsessive, most of the time somewhat intellectual and reserved possibly. hard to say really.

maybe it's easiest to say that i like: to walk, cycle, or generally move distances and open spaces using my body; read quite a lot; i am not pedantic enough to build a proper bizarre music collection, but i totally appreciate sound and people who have an approach to it and can listen; i am "naturally high" which is why i don't do (even soft) drugs and things that strongly affect my system, because it has enough trouble staying in balance without that. i can get deeply affected by abstract art, which is apparently rare. i can get excited by ideas.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment i read and write a lot. Try to play some musical instruments now and then, exercise here and there, walk around, see the country, meet the right people and build good connections with them. Enjoy and appreciate life on a day-to-day basis.

books -- changes, but generally i read non-fiction, meaning academic stuff, journalism, history/politics/culture, pop-science and science. i get real bored by novels. i can sometimes appreciate poems.

movies -- i get bored by 90% of the stuff people try to make me watch (to the frustration of many friends). also, i usually start analysing and criticising the way the movie is made instead of identifying with the characters (to the annoyance of most :). again, i prefer documentaries (best independent) to fiction. if it's fiction, i prefer if it has a strongly developed non-verbal side, original and careful photography, as i've seen in some japanese and korean movies, composition, colours, rhythm, body language, and does not rely too much dialogue. also, i mix up the plot if there are more than 3 characters :)

music -- i can appreciate a wide range, though there are probably several clusters: either it's meditative (along pink floyd's "echoes"), or it's prog rock, or it's caribbean, latin or west african, or it's a rock ballad, or abstract jazz, or stuff i've known since youth, or stuff which is totally new to me but has interesting structure. i usually don't enjoy noisy repetitive two-chord music, unless it's polish punk rock from the 80s or bad russian rock (don't ask why), and much pop makes me ouch.

food -- from time to time trying to pull off a fish and veg based paleo diet, also i really hate cooking but i enjoy "clean" food, which is why i sometimes spend days living on fruit, nuts, odd seeds and roots and other things you can eat raw.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
i don't know, i've probably tried doing without pretty much everything at some point in time, and usually you survive. ;-) but i'd say, health, freedom, and a good soul somewhere in reach.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
with friends; or sometimes enjoying the quiet when everyone is out and writing, playing my music loud, stretching the body and daydreaming.

you are a guy with a strong "feminine" side, whether that's a warm and soft personality, cross-dressing, or being queer.
