My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I work in the movies as a Director and a Cameraman, I also write, and I've done a fair amount of teaching. I was married for 14 years and I have two awesome kids who spend every other weekend with me. Do I want to have more kids in the future? As good as these turned out, who wouldn't? Just to be clear - Having more kids is not something I'm striving for, but in the right situation, I'd absolutely be up for it.

I like Karaoke; I'm a liberal; I speak French; I own my own house; I've never smoked or done drugs, but I do enjoy a cocktail. I make a mean Martini and a tender steak.

I am Smart, Creative, Talented, and have been accused of being a nice guy.

For me, finding someone I like has become a high priority. Has it for you? If you can't make time to get together, how do you expect to ever get anything started? You see, the great thing about HAVING a significant other is that they are there to fill those windows of time BETWEEN all the things you have to do. Wouldn't that be nice? - to have someone there to hang out with WITHOUT having to make plans?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Creating Content. Playing the Ukulele. Getting out and meeting lots of people. Making Art. Waiting for you to get in touch.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making Things. Solving Puzzles. Telling Jokes. Sex. Filmmaking. Photography. Pyramid. Building Ikea Furniture. Cooking. Sex. Karaoke. Parenting. Remembering all 7 Dwarves. Thinking up new ones.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Gotta be the Mustache.
Also, I usually wear red socks. Though you have to get pretty close to see those.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
iPhone, The Daily Show, A Macintosh, TiVo, Meat, Comedy

(Actually: My Son, My Daughter, and Oxygen are more accurate answers, but less revealing. I could do without pretty much anything else, if I had to. But I don't think that's what they're really going for here. FYI: I have my kids on odd weekends and long holidays. They're teenagers who act like adults. My son is actually off in college now. Don't panic, I have plenty of attention left for you.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
You. And what's taking you so long to find me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dammit! I let another week go by without making any plans for the weekend. I could really go for a good Happy Hour.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think "The Godfather" is overrated.

Also: My income isn't really "more than $1,000,000" - I just think it's kind of rude of OKCupid to ask, don't you?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're looking for a good man who knows how to have a good time.

Please be smart; please be pretty; please have a sense of humor and have interests beyond the mainstay: "hiking".

My dad used to say "All women are beautiful, it's just easier to tell on some than on others." I agree.

Please be sexy, however you define it. Please enjoy sex, and not just tolerate it. Please enjoy doing fun things like dressing up for Halloween. Please be creative and artistic, or at least understand its value. Please don't smoke. (Even if you're not interested in calling me, just don't - it's just bad for you.)

Please be unique. Please don't be crazy. Well... please don't be TOO crazy.

Please have some interest in moving a relationship forward.

Please don't let any of this make you feel pre-disqualified. I think it's counter-productive to have a "Type" you're looking for. It's really all those little qualities you weren't expecting that you fall in love with anyway. Chemistry is more important than any of this. So let's just get together and see what happens.
