film: pretty much anything by Antonioni, Rivette, Bergman, and Godard .. L'Eclisse, Celine and Julie Go Boating, Aguirre: Wrath of God, Half-Cocked, Brief Encounter, The Passion of Joan of Arc .. oh yeah and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and the cartoon Transformers
