My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I tend to have an overly idealistic view of how things should be, or how I wish they were. I suppose that's what leads me to search for balance in my life. I always want things to just be cool and work out the best way possible.
I'm usually not content liking something without reason. I look for deeper meaning and try to figure things out. Much to the annoyance of my friends sometimes!
I'm not always content with the simple answer. I want to know more. I want to learn and understand.
On the less serious side, I like to have fun and be happy!
I like the feeling of adventure when walking through an unknown airport, in a new city, with only the contents of my backpack.
I adore standing at the summit of a mountain, snowboard in hand, during a blizzard. It makes me feel alive! It's humbling, and helps to keep me spiritually centered. It may sound crazy, but that setting guides me to better understand where I fit in the greater scheme of things.

I tend to be more attracted to ladies who are ethnic, exotic or have darker skin tones. And since I'm fairly pale, "darker skin tones" just means darker than me. I especially find bi/multi racial women attractive! I really like the idea of racial lines being blurred. So people can exist as humans and not always be labeled.
But ultimately I'm open to meet a lady of any background.
What's most important is that we can relate and make a great connection!
What I’m doing with my life

Of course working, like everybody else.
More importantly searching for clarity, excitement and things that make me happy!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening and being a friend.
Trying to help and provide support.
Finding good deals on shoes!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I suppose my smile, and that I favor both my parents.
My eyes, if you get close enough.
Lately it's been my big watch and different shoes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The list for all of these is LONG, so a few examples of each;
Books: beer history and brewing. Tolkien. Gaiman. Frank Miller. Alan Moore. Most graphic novels. Band and musician bios.
Movies: Bond. LOTR. Films by Christopher Nolan, David Lynch, Fincher, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Miyazaki, Christopher Guest, Greg Stump.
Shows: Most sports, especially hockey. Around The Horn, PTI. Educational. Anything with substance and well written.
Music: Anything except most current rap and country. Today I listened to Crystal Waters, CeCe Peniston, Snap! and Slayer.
Food: Probably anything except beets! I'll try something at least once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Snow and mountains.
2) Pets
3) Freedom
4) Friends
5) The ability to learn
6) Good shoes
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
1) at work.
2) getting a beer(s) at The Porter.
3) going home to see what my cats have managed to destroy!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be a bit shy and cautious about approaching girls I find attractive. I feel I'm at a disadvantage because so many guys use cheesy lines and have got no game.
I have to remind myself to be the regular me, then I'm good to go!

Also I'm more like a girl when it comes to shoes!
I just won't pay full price. I'm always looking for a good deal!

Oh, and I tend to incorporate my cats names into whatever song is in my head at the moment and sing it to them, poorly!
