My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a hard working, ambitious person most days and a carefree slacker every time else. It takes me a while to open up to new people, but my friends know that I'm outgoing, caring, and dependable when I finally do feel comfortable.

I have been told that, at first glance, I have an air of cavernous confidence that can put distance between others. I assure you, I am the most loyal person to people with which I can connect.

Let's sing songs together or explore an interest you'd be too embarrassed or intimidated to do with your existing friends.

2015: I will be in Shanghai at the beginning of the year.

2014 Update: I will be moving for a lofty career at a Fortune 10 company's leadership program to Chicago in mid-July. I know this will put off a lot of people in LA. You may be the woman of my dreams, but I feel it's best to be honest right now, before I give anybody the wrong impression about my situation.

March 2014: I guess earlier, as I will be in Germany starting May 17th...

June 2014: I'll be touring Europe and back in town come mid July...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just finished business school, but in the meantime I'm working on my business and concocting desperate measures to prevent working at a corporation(and apparently failing, for now. But ahhll be bahhhk). I sell environmental products that clean up urban stormwater runoff. But other than saving Southern California from choking on its own waste, I like to go snowboarding, the spontaneous trip to Las Vegas, and mocking CNBC reporters about their business school jargon.

I'm also attempting to reclaim much of what I sacrificed during my semi-employed life as a student. That means traveling (Panama in March, Germany and Europe in May/June); snowboarding; and devoting all my waking efforts to the startup.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Doing math in my head, fixing any of my friend's broken computers/electronics, singing hip hop at karaoke bars, fighting speeding tickets and winning.

Since 2011, I have been learning to bullshit very well. My powerpoint skills and my ability to create a perfectly circular argument is phenomenonal. Thanks b-school! Well worth the self-induced poverty!

That my appearance definitely doesn't match what their first impressions tell them. They don't expect to hear a deep, booming voice when I first open my mouth. In the day people think I'm older than I actually am, at night they think I'm younger than I am. I could go on, but I think I don't live up to people's expectations and that leaves them pleasantly surprised.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Intellectual curiosity
2. Gravity
3. Fresh snow
4. Freedom of the Press
5. Challenges
6. Hummus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Finding ways to make my profile look more awesome, whether or not OKCupid is enhancing my life in any beneficial way, how to break free from the shackles of Corporate America, what it would be like as a liftie at Mammoth or Whistler, how to make every moment as a reborn student as good as they should be, what I can do to fuel my ideals of ambition, adventure, and love and keep them alive.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working on some other cockamamie marketing idea to get intelligent, yet insular, environmental engineers locked behind a computer to use my free design services for my business... all while watching some mindless drama on Netflix, sipping bourbon, and not folding laundry. Have anything better in mind?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was in marching band when I was in high school. And yes, I did go to band camp... twice.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a big, sexy brain. I like my woman to be to be on the right tail of the bell curve. I want to be able to flirt at a post-collegiate level here. Big plus if you have an angelic voice or musical talent.

Also, if you aren't easily offended and judgmental based on my pictures. Explaining away my Instagram photos from a year ago isn't my idea of fun.

You don't have any expectations of long term commitment or rules within the dating context. I've been in polyamorous relationships (of varying types) in the past and although this seems to be my personal preference, I do date people who prefer a single mate. Also, those that don't see dating as burdensome or a means for "leading to" something. I've found that commitment, love, and companionship tend to happen when there is no agenda.
