My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not really one to talk about myself too much. And if I tell you too much now, what would we talk about later. So I'm going to make this quick and give you the Spark Notes version of me.

My name's Brandon. I'm 28. I work in a bakery and moonlight as a stand-up comedian. I like to think I have an awesome sense of humor because of that. In my downtime between work and performing, I go to the gym, read, write, listen to music, etc. My musical tastes pretty much encompass a little bit of everything. My playlists that I make for the gym have included everything from Metallica and Eminem to The Beatles and Backstreet Boys. In fact, Spotify is really useful in letting everyone know what I like to listen to as guilty pleasures of mine. In addition to music, I'm also a huge fan of movies. I look up to people like Kevin Smith, Judd Apatow, Cameron Crowe and John Hughes. I have aspirations of writing and filming a movie one day. I just haven't figured out what it's about yet.

I'm not really frequent the bar scene too much. I'm not really crazy about the taste of beer. So when I do drink, it's usually mixed drinks. I've also been known to create mixed drinks of my own, but I tend to create mixed drinks based on whether the name sounds cool or not. Then I actually mix the drink. Examples of this have been, StrawBrandy Milk - (Strawberry Milk + Brandy), ZimmerRum (Zimmerman's Iced Tea + Rum), Voo-Doo (Vodka + YooHoo), Gatorum (Gatorade + Rum), Pink Russian (pre-mixed White Russian + Strawberry Milk) and the Brandy Caine (Brandy + Cocaine (the energy drink, not the drug)). I'm not sure if you can put parentheses inside parentheses (but I just did).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Like I said earlier, I work in a bakery and moonlight as a stand-up comedian. I like to write all sorts of things and would like to be a filmmaker one day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'd love to say I'm really good at making people laugh (which I am at times). I've always joked with myself that if and when I record an album of my stand-up I'd title it, "Kinda Funny, Some of the Time".

I also write poetry. I've written poems for use in my stand-up act and I've written poems at the request and for other people. I've been told I'm pretty good at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (my absolute favorite book and one of the only books on my bookshelf that I've read on more than one occasion)
The Catcher In The Rye
Harold and the Purple Crayon
The Fault In Our Stars

Like I said before. I pretty much listen to a little bit of everything. But some of my favorite artists are Dashboard Confessional, Alice In Chains, Tool, Paramore, The Beatles, Big Time Rush, Katy Perry, New Found Glory, Linkin Park, Crobot, 10 Years and Parabelle.

I'm a big Seth Rogen, Bill Murray and Ryan Reynolds fan. But aside from their movies. Some of my favorites are The Perks of Being a Wallflower (much like the book, this is one of my favorite movies, and this is only movie I've ever gone and seen multiple times in the theaters), The Breakfast Club, Clerks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sleepwalk With Me, Short Circuit 2, High Fidelity, and the American Pie movies (but not the spin-offs).

Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
Family Guy

Pizza, Cheesesteaks, Subway, Tacos, Fruity Pebbles, Bananas, and Strawberry Milk.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no specific order:

I never used to be one of those people that couldn't live without their phone, but then I got an iPhone and have since become one of those people.

My Future Dog
I don't have any animals of my own, but I've always, always wanted a dog ever since I can remember. Whenever that does happen, I imagine myself being attached to my dog and always having him by my side.

My Sense of Humor
I have a tendency to try and find the humor in pretty much everything. I'm probably one of the first ones to try and make a joke to lighten the mood or get out of an awkward situation.

I couldn't live without an imagination. I'm a dreamer and I always find ways to keep myself occupied. I love being creative and I'd hate to not have that ability anymore.

I know that's not 6 things, so I'll figure out 2 more later.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything. At my job, I have a lot of free time to just let my mind wander. At any given time, I'm either thinking of jokes, something that might've happened in the world, the good times, the bad times, and friends and family.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing the same thing I do every night. Trying to take over the world.

You get bonus points if you know what this is from.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried during "The Fault In Our Stars". I'll admit more if you feel like asking.
