My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Overall, I am a very caring, artistic, genuine guy. I have a dry sense of humor that many people miss if they aren't listening well enough. I may not always say the right thing, or speak up at first, but if you ask me the right questions, I have a lot to say. I am very creative, emotionally connected, and spiritual (in my own way). I feel things very deeply, but I don't regret this, because it feeds my artistic passion: songwriting. I often have trouble sticking with one thing for very long, because I have so many different interests and passions, but when I find something worthwhile, it sticks. I hold myself to high standards of trustworthiness and human decency, and would never intentionally hurt another person. I am just a laid-back musician who thinks a lot and watches as life rushes by.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently attending the University of Vermont as an undergraduate student. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in music with the hope to become a music therapist, so I can use my passion for music to help others.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Violin, Guitar, Ukulele, Singing.
Listening, of course I'd have to be if I want to be a therapist.
Reading between the lines.
Finding the right words, though not at first.
Understanding people... mostly.
Expressing myself.
Making jokes with a straight face.
*Being humble*
Being exactly who I am, 100% of the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hipster-esque glasses. My mysteriously red beard. My friendly nature. My dry, yet raunchy sense of humor.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. My beautiful instruments
3. Sleep
4. A friend
5. A muse
6. A good book
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about subjects philosophical in nature. For instance, I constantly question what my purpose in life is, and how to best live my life towards that purpose. I also ponder over my spiritual beliefs, which borrow from a lot of different sources, including eastern religions such as Buddhism and Taoism, and my own inner feelings and beliefs about the nature of life and connectedness in the universe. Nature plays a large role in this. When I am not thinking in the abstract, I am trying to find the words to the next verse of a song, or remember the correct chords to a song I am covering. My mind is a busy place, indeed.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a fun night in with friends. While I am game for the occasional party, (and I love bonfires!), I am just as content to watch a movie and spend time talking with the people who matter in my life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Historically, I'm a very open person, sometimes to a fault. I tend to put myself in a very vulnerable position, which can and has hurt me before, but I don't regret it. Openness can lead to great things and deep connections, and any hurt it brings I will turn into art.
