My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, homes to Bel Air'

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air

Yeah so that's pretty much my story.

Other than being the fresh prince of bel air, some other things to know about me:

I'm a Lover of all things good ie good art, good food, good music, good thoughts, good deeds. That being said, I have eclectic tastes. I'm active (I surf, snowboard, workout regularly, run, hike, camp, etc), I Love to read, watch films, have deep discussions, care about my community and the world I live in, and try to live my life with purpose. Also, humor and laughter are huge for me so you need to be able to hang.

I also adopted the best dog in the world so this is a packaged deal. It's a two for oner.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

Books: Good ones with magical realism but I enjoy some solid non-fiction as well. I recently read The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Life of Pi, Immortality, and Whores For Gloria.

Movies: I have been known to vomit on anything with the names Tom Cruise, Michael Bay, or Steven Seagal above or near the title. Some Favorites: In The Mood For Love, Amelie, Big Lebowski, Annie Hall, Avatar, Drive, City of God, Life Aquatic, Motorcycle Diaries, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Scott Pilgrim, Spaceballs, Eternal Sunshine, The Artist, any Charlie Chaplin films, The Grandmaster, Ferris Bueler's Day Off, The Goonies, etc etc etc.

Shows: Arrested Development, No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, Daily Show, and PBS stuff.

Music: Its so important to me and I listen to everything but, again, I'll list a few: Bon Iver, Thievery Corporation, Vampire Weekend, Justice, Mos Def, Nujabes, RAC, MJ, Tribe Called Quest, Bobby Hutcherson, Body Language, Sabrina Malheiros, Phoenix, The Roots, Beirut, Washed Out, The Used, Zero 7, Incubus, Mayer Hawthorne, Hall and Oates, Bibio, Madi Diaz, Macklemore, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Blackstar, Jessie Ware, Chet Faker, Flume, Yuna, etc etc etc. I'm a certified Audio-phile, truth be told.

Food: Anything but I don't dig on swine....or cow. Love eating out with friends.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My Brain. 2. My family/friends. 3. My Laptop 4. My music 5. Burritos. 6. My Camera
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to achieve my goals, people, and the world. Other things that tend to float into my mind: food, funny scenarios, places to see, movies, and what I can write in my "I spend a lot of time thinking about" box.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had to get my teeth capped because I ate too many cookies when I was a kid. I was the first kid on the playground to have a grill.
