My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"Nobody will ever win the battle of the sexes. There's too much fraternizing with the enemy." - Henry Kissinger

I love loose leaf tea. I'm drinking it right now. I'm pretty much drinking tea or coffee all the time.

I work for a company that puts on a 5k obstacle course race that travels around the nation throughout the year. It's both challenging & rewarding; exhausting & inspiring. I travel quite a bit for work and love that I can sometimes use vacation days to stay in cities I LOVE a bit longer to take in the sites. Austin sure comes to mind!

I'm a gal with many a hobby...

- basking in my nerd-dom: cosplay, anime, reading manga

- crafting: sewing, crotcheting, watercolor painting, re-arranging or repurposing my furniture, finding DIY projects on apartment therapy

- eating: strictly anything

-listening to or performing ALL the music: bluegrass, blues, jazz, big band, classic country, swing, sea shanties (hogeye navy anyone?), rock irish, cello, musical theater

-alright yes. i imbibe: dirty gin martinis, or Manhattans, or red wine, or bloody marys, or vodka tonics, or... well let's just end it there... but i will share that when I grow up I want to be Mallory. In fact if I ever have a son, I've no qualms what-so-ever with naming him Sterling.

- and let's not forget: horse back riding, tennis, fantasizing about life as a pirate- YARR!, attending festivals, camping, role-playing, writing songs, dancing, reading, camping, hanging out with my friends, and oh yes the ever important application of lipstick.

Recently I've decided that I want to learn to cook. So I've started spending a great deal more time in the kitchen listening to Pandora and trying out new recipes. I'm really loving it.
