I think I would be a lot happier if Rice Krispies with Marshmallows
came back. Or Planter's Cheese Balls.
Cooking for money. I work as a chef and I like it quite a bit
because I am getting paid to practice something I love doing. I am
not, however, much interested in the hierarchy of professional
kitchens and have no aspiration to be a head chef. I love baking
and could do it for ten hours a day, every day. When I am not at
work I go home and watch the food network or old Julia Child reruns
on PBS. My biggest life goal, and I say this earnestly, is to one
day host a cooking show themed around affordable
cooking-from-scratch for a single person living without state of
the art equipment. That or one themed around good hang-over/
munchie food.
I am also practicing Improv in my basement with my best friend
while I make plans to move to Chicago and study it professionally.
Video games. I really love playing them. Resident Evil ftw.
Cooking, baking, calming down really crazy people, procrastinating,
eating things, falling asleep when I should be doing something
else.
My glasses.
My teeth.
My pupils which are occasionally extremely dilated for no real
reason.
Long answer coming up!
Books = Anything by Margaret Atwood. I like John Steinbeck, too. I
was recently introduced to Kurt Vonnegut and am loving his stuff
specifically Mother Night. I do not consider myself well-read,
however, because I am unfamiliar with quite a few of the really
influential authors but I'm working on it. Right now I read a lot
of cookbooks, too, and think anything by Ina Garten should be
revered.
I enjoy anime although most of what I'm familiar with is pretty
mainstream and sometimes I dream about becoming a voice actor. This
year I discovered Avatar: The Last Airbender and although I am
definitely about ten years older than the intended demographic I
still find it incredibly entertaining. My favorite animes are
Big O and Cowboy
Bebop but I need to mention that Pokemon changed my life and one
day I intend to get a tattoo of
Team Rocket on my left arm.
Other great T.V. shows are Barefoot Contessa on Food Network,
Cooking with Jaque and Julia, America's Test Kitchen, True Blood,
Mad Men, Sex and the City, Next on MTV (its so trashy but I can
watch it for HOURS), Oz, and Weeds.

think I'm still trying to hash out how to taste more than one spice
at a time. Really, though, I love food.
