My self-summary
I am married to 460percale. We are open. She is an amazing woman whom I love dearly and plan to keep forever.

Sorry for the headless picture. Not everyone in my life knows we're open. I'd rather not have this site be how they find out. If I like you or contacted you I probably have already shared a bunch more pictures. If I haven't and you're curious I can add you. You can't see them from your smartphone, OKC tech support says.

I'm interested in dating without overly specific requirements for who you are or how we might fit into each others lives. I don't have a detailed description of whom I'm looking for, I'd rather meet and see what makes sense, and let relationships find their own level.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working an amazing dream job that I feel lucky to have.

I'm fixing up a beautiful old victorian that I feel even luckier to have found and figured out how to get into with the aforementioned amazing woman.

I'm putting time and energy and effort and love into my community of awesome friends.

I'm learning a lot about myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that my right pant leg is rolled up a bit to keep it out of the chain. I always forget to put it back.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I should really spend some time on this because I believe the things you read, watch, listen to, and eat really do affect you and also tell people something about you. But for now I'll just put some recent examples.

Latest mind-boggling book: Sex at Dawn. Yet another example of something we were all taught long ago that is completely wrong.

Latest good movie: The Host. Amazing Korean monster movie rife with cultural criticism about how we treat the environment, pharmaceuticals, each other, ourselves...

Last show I watched: Mad Men on DVD. I don't own a television, but occasionally I get hooked on a series that is out on DVD and I devour every episode I can get my hands on.

Last new band I got really into: The Whitest Boy Alive. I mean, it's Erlend Oye. Need I say more?

Last yummy new restaurant I "discovered": Zero Zero. And by discovered, I mean finally went to after their Yelp reviews counted into the hundreds.
The six things I could never do without

Some things I can do without:

* A car. I donated my car to public radio 6 years ago, bike to work every day, prefer not to drive other peoples cars either, though I do on occasion.

* TV. I have been without one for 15 years, and recently acquiesced to getting one for movies or the occasional good reason to watch broadcast TV. I'm still not fully comfortable with it in the house.

* Prefab anything. I love understanding how things work and how to make stuff. I love building things myself and feeling a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Robots. Aliens. Zombies. Mostly robots.

Wait, message is a verb? Verbing weirds language.
