I am just me. I wear my heart on my sleeve, try to be my "authentic self" always, and believe that there's good in most everyone.
I'm a tad vertically challenged (not short, fun sized!), could be the president of the itty bitty titty committee, am responsible but will never let go of the kid in me, and I think I'm more centered now then I have ever been. I guess it really is true.......with age comes wisdom. I just wish it didn't come with all the other nonsense! lol

I am kind, loving, and fabulous

Guess you could say I'm at a crossroads in my life right now. I worked as a nurse with special needs kids for over 20 years and loved it. For the past year or so I was my moms caregiver. Sadly, the cancer proved to be a little too much for her body to handle and she passed away. I've spent the last month or so doing a lot of soul searching and trying to figure out which path is the right one for me at this stage of the game. I'm not destitute, can pay my bills, have a roof over my head, friends and family whom I adore, and the best dogs ever, so I'm not going to rush the process. I've been working really hard at not stressing about "stuff" and just letting things happen "organically". Not as easy to do as I thought but i'm getting there! :)
The second act of life is just around the corner and I'm excited to see where it leads me.

Right now I rock at baking. I'm pretty skilled at poker, think i'm a darn good friend, kick serious butt at ping pong but suck at pool. I like to tinker around the house and try to make some of my "visions" happen. Sometimes it works out and a really cool bed or table is born and other times an absolutely amazing mess is made! Oh yea, I am really, really good at being a bit unorganized but I'm working on that!

Dean Koontz, Rita Mae Brown, and way too many other authors to list. I like all kinds of music from Melissa Ferrick to Metal, to Country with a teeny little bit of rap thrown in for good measure.
As for food, I'm cool with most but please, please, please, don't ask me to eat peas!! Yuck! I like tea, no coffee for me unless I'm in Ireland and it's the irish coffee with the fresh cream that I fell in love with while on holiday there. I will order dessert more readily than a cocktail but i'm not against a few drinks either. Not a huge sushi fan but lately have been able to almost appreciate some of the rolls that I've been harangued into tasting.

My family(this includes my dog family!), my friends, a book to read, pepsi, my God/Goddess, and my imagination.

Sometimes life, the universe, and everything and other times I try to think of nothing at all.
