I believe that internet dating is quickly becoming the normal for meeting/dating new people which is cool and all, the only downfall I see with this is that people are also quick to pass over potentially awesome folks because of something they don't agree with. PROVE ME WRONG!!!

Well lets get on with this freak show shall we... Since most everyone on here sounds like a broken record, I'll try and not make this profile like that, although that is easier said than done.

I'll start with the basics, my name is John, although my friends refer to me by my last name (We knew too many John's growing up). I am 26 years young and am trying my best.

I will not tell you about who or what I think I am or am not, I will leave that for you to find out for yourself if you are interested. Instead I will just tell you what I enjoy in hopes that we have some common ground to talk about. I think a list format will work best for this...

•Sleeping in on the weekends.
•Riding my motorcycle out in the country.
•Restoring my grandpa's old boat from 1965.
•Being outside doing things and stuff.
•Driving... some of the time.

•Catching up with old friends.
•People watching while trying to decipher their conversation.
•Building potato launchers and other random things.
•Having some sort of a project to work on.

•That first cut into a fresh sheet of construction paper
•Shooting off fireworks in inappropriate places
•Driving around aimlessly
•The occasional mischief and/or Mayhew
AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

Maybe I should also list things that I wish to do/accomplish in my life time...

•Travel all over the US and the world
•skydiving
•scuba diving
•have a workshop where I can build things
•Finish my boat and visit as many bodies of water as I can with it
•Go fast, very fast
•Play in thick snow
•Drive a steam roller over a long line of bubble wrap.

BTW, does anyone else find it kind of funny that if the match percentage is below a certain amount it says "Y'all got issues" or is that just me???

My life... I moved to Austin from my hometown not too far away best known for its production of delicious ice cream almost 4 years ago with my friend, so I am still discovering new place's in this town and enjoying every minute of it. I went to a technical college in Houston for auto/diesel mechanics and am now I am working in a dealership trying not to loose my faith in humanity. Other than that I am just trying to find my way in this city, life, etc. etc.

*Update; currently trying to decide if I want to comtinue on the path that I am on or pursue something I've thought about doing since I was a kid, becoming a paramedic.

Finding out how things work, I have a curious nature, I like to know what makes stuff tick. I also do a good job at being a goober, and sarcasm, I can be very sarcastic when I feel like it :)

Oh, and making an ass out of myself or just being awkward, it varies.

Apparently my friends describe me as "delightfully quirky." Not quite sure what to think of that...

I am usually very quiet at first, but once you get to know me, I will get a little more vocal. I have always been a fairly quiet person by nature. As far as what people notice about my first physically, hell... I don't know, you tell me!

my top 2 favorite foods are my dads chicken and rice, and my moms spaghetti. Musically I have a fairly wide range, excluding country, but my favorite band is Blind melon, my current Pandora stations include Them Crooked Vultures, Awolnation, Scissor Sisters, Alanis Morissette, Bayside, Manchester orchestra, No Doubt, Clutch, That Handsome Devil, Tool, Blind Melon, and Incubus. If you know any new good music that is worth while to check out let me know! My top 2 current show addictions are Dexter, and The Sons of Anarchy, back when I had cable I enjoyed watching the Discovery channel, they had some cool shit every now and then!

Other than that...

My mind is filled with random "what if" scenarios , different things that have happened in my life and how differently they could have ended. Honestly, it changed just about every 10 seconds to something different. Another random fact about me, about 4 out of 5 times when I wake up in the morning I have a random song stuck in my head and it is usually not a song that i have recently listened to or like for that matter.

Either hanging out at the house with my friends having a few drinks, or going out somewhere, either to a bar, movies, or just whatever we find that sounds interesting.

Besides the fact that I am on this damn site...

I still ride shopping carts at the grocery store.

You have a good Netflix suggestion or band suggestion as I could use some new music in my life!
