My self-summary
I teach and build robots... Really... If you don't think that is fucking cool, you should probably move along. I'm the most intro/extrovert transhumanist you will ever meet. I'm sure all of us are going to die (soon) and can only expect everyone to live it up. If we happen to enjoy each others company while the world burns, I'll be trying to make it a better place in the meantime.

When I'm in my element I'm outgoing and can take point and actually enjoy public speaking, but in social situations I almost always let others do the talking unless spoken to, so I'm kinda taking all of this as an interesting social experiment. I'm not sure how I feel about this all just yet. Most of my friends would call me quiet and and a bit introverted, but most of my friends don't know me that well. So here's to having a drink and being up front and taking my life where I fucking feel like.

Also, just so you know, I'm Not as doom and gloom as my profile would have you believe, so please continue if you've made it this far ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Working hard, and playing harder. Preparing for a zombie apocalypse. Being a harbinger if the Robot apocalypse. I want to be at the forefront when it all gets blown up. So, to keep myself keen, I'm currently teaching a number of technical classes at TechShop in downtown SF, and trying to get a business off the ground building robots. I'm working on art and technology stuff in one way or another most of the year, and with my weird schedule I just have to take everything a day at a time.
I’m really good at
Building thing and teaching people more about almost anything. It's less about hearing myself talk, and more about enabling others to accomplish cool things.

Not doing things that I'm not good at.

Doing things so strenuously that I hurt myself. :P

Using smilies and "..." too much.

Drinking Car-Bombs faster than you. It's my useless mutant super power.
The first things people usually notice about me
My blue hair! If out and about, it's probably that I'm nice but occasionally a little quieter compared to my current social cohorts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I had written a long diatribe about things that I Don't like, and then promptly left the page without saving this section :P So, That will have to wait a bit, but the short quick answers to this:

H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Steven King, Steven Hawkings, James Gleick, de Sade, science-non-fiction, and Textbooks.

Horror movies, Futurama, and South Park. I never watch television with commercials. My media collection is kinda epic, and I'll geek out about horror movies that you need to watch anytime I have company over.

Nine Inch Nails, Einstürzende Neubauten, Dead Can Dance, Anyone that was on the nothing Records label, and most industrial music. Rediscovering my New Wave roots from that decade I was born in, but not old enough to enjoy. No country, rap, or pop for me, but always open to new music.

Art: M.C. Escher, Dr. Suess, Dali, Sir John Tenniel, the works of my friends Nicole & Audrey & Iris, the kinetic art sculptures of pe lang and Arthur Ganson.

Indian food, Sushi, Beer and Pizza. I don't take anything seriously enough to be a true foodie, but always try anything twice to know if you really don't like it. But, No Cantaloupe, Olives, or Pork, EVER.
The six things I could never do without
Information! I don't have a "Hitchhikers guide to the universe" but Wikipedia and the rest of the internet is a good start.

Mindblowingly awesome sex.

Iced Tea. (unsweetened, lots of lemon)

Inline spelling correction. It's not that I'm uneducated, it's that English, as a language doesn't make sense or follow rules. :P

Good friends and partners in crime.

Being able to explore new things and places.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Technology and the ephemeral nature of life, so living it up while I've got it and the things that make it better while we're here.

Robots, and problems I can solve with them.

I recently thought I had lost all faith in everything, but was kinda surprised about that recently.

Birds...
On a typical Friday night I am
still awake from Thursday
at a bar with friends
in the mosh pit of some awesome concert
walking the city looking for adventure
or perhaps drinking and playing video games between bouts of working on a project.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My PCL-R test number is higher than yours. ;P
I’m looking for

  • Ages 21–49

Life is a gift to you and you don't want to waste a second, but understand that sometimes, the right thing to do is to drink a bottle of wine by yourself and roam the beach alone until dawn.
And you like birds /*)>
