My Self-Summary
The rest of my time I spend with plotting the downfall of the pigs (not really) and flexing my mind to make it more flexible, exercise (drums and bass git), working on my self to improve so as to impress, masturbating, drawing, painting, reading, the internet, working/partying at my "job" at the "Edelfettwerk" (disco in Hamburg), eating, drinking, adjusting my food and drinks (3/5 grapejuice, 2/5 orange juice, and as many bananas as will go into the blender was the most recent experiment and I can recommend it), doing push-ups, relaxing and doing nothing at all, listening to music and sleeping. Every now and then, This is interrupted and cast to the winds because of a new acquaintance (preferably female). If girls are not around, I spend time with friends (some of them are girls, too). If the friends are not around (which has never happened yet), I would probably go out and make more friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on some physical improvement,
doing fine so far.
Thinking about getting a tattoo. Maybe.
Dropping the nice guy thing because it is not appreciated. I ME MINE is up.
I’m really good at
Drums (ambitious, albeit not professional)
Stroking (more so if I'm in the mood for it)
Making you laugh (*only* if I am in the mood for it)
Getting people back on track. My folks ask me why I'm so hell-bent on working with technical science and tell me to drop it in favour of psychology.
The first things people usually notice about me
Here are a few wild guesses:
I sometimes seem to materialize out of nowhere.
I prefer to take stairs two steps at a time and I generally cover ground at rapid paces.
I have grown some hair on my chin.
I am relatively tall. And polite around strangers with a certain minimum of manners.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Richard David Precht: "Wer bin ich, und wenn ja wie viele?"
Missing Manuals: "Dein Gehirn"
"Die unerträgliche Leichtigkeit des Seins"
Matt Ruff: "Ich und die Anderen" (german translated edition)
movies
I dislike most Hollywood films. I prefer witty low-budget films.
"Keinohrhasen", "Drei Chinesen Mit dem Kontrabass", "Bang, Boom, Bang", "Knocking on heaven's door", anything from Quentin Tarantino, anything with Til Schweiger.
And Dexter. Which is not really a movie but a series.
music
NIN (so far doesn't extend to other industrial though), Metal, Rock, Funk, !JAZZ!, Blues, FUSION, sometimes Techno/Electric, GOA,
rarely some classical,
Frank Zappa, Rage against the machine, Rammstein, Pantera, Death, gah the list would take up waaay too much space if I completed it and no-one would read it anyway.
food
... has a lot to do with the books at the moment because they tell me a lot about different kinds of food and how to prepare those for mastication. Try "Your Brain" (book by Matthew MacDonald) if you have the focus and time to spare - which is, among other things, about eating stuff that is required by the brain without any mention of eating the brain itself... Which in turn is interesting because a complete brain should come with all the stuff that another brain needs.
Yes, I like to experiment. A lot. *Growl*. (No cannibalism intended)
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
OR, in the event of failing to find someone nice - beating up my drumkit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
The way I see it, I have nothing to *admit*.
