I was born in Beirut to a Lebanese father and a German mother. I traveled quite a bit during childhood, left a war-torn country at 19 to pursue an education, lived since in Paris and New York, then settled in New York for good... I have two beautiful kids, boy 18 + girl 17. My son starts college next September (working and living on his own til then), and my daughter lives with me every other week. The rest of the time I spend working, enjoying the city and planning my next trip.

I am self employed as an information architect/designer, so I spend long hours at my desk. Otherwise I love the city, the culture especially but also the diversity. I love art and contemporary dance performances, or heading out of the city to disconnect. I also travel quite a bit, I enjoy people, dining out or cooking in.

What I do for work, organizing and designing. To me function leads form, there is a lot of German in me! The Lebanese comes out when it comes to warmth and compassion, love of company, love of nature, love of the sun.

I'm transparent, friendly and loyal.

I am truly multi-cultured and it's hard to narrow it down to a few choice. A movie I won't forget is Intouchables with François Cluzet and Omar Sy. I am reading Zone by Mathias Enard -- fascinating! In music I'm a minimalist, symphonies drive me up the wall. I like few instruments and vocalists. Rap is sometimes ok. House is often great.
