I am Funny, strange, and independant.
My Self-Summary
im short. And i have a phobia of prawns.
Im cute, honest, wrong, strange, funny, odd, good to know, loyal,
and fickle. I really dislike liars! Other than that, im pretty easy
going.
I believe in second chances, but not thirds.
I believe everyone is inately good, and look purposely for the best
in people. Edit: Or atleast try to, its getting harder as the years
go by, cynicism is setting in.
I am extremely passionate about music, it is the love of my life,
and id pick it over you any day.
Im a big fan of stand up comedy,i have quite a wrong sense of
humour, so the more offensive the better..
Im independant, like my own space, enjoy social situations, gigs,
film, art, Poker, football and reading.
Im no bunny boiler, or better still, im no attention seeking game
player. Im blunt (perhaps too much so) but speak from the heart,
with sense. Im intelligent, know what i want, and, am pretty funny.
My favourite pass time is drinking wine and dancing to bands that
everyone else has to ask "who is this?" and i take immense joy in
being able to tell them.
If anyone has ever heard of "feeling gloomy" in islington
academy... that is my spiritual home! And am considering moving to
London just for that night out.
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment im a manager in finance, its challenging and hard
work.
However, i have social guilt about not doing something that helps
people. My grand plan, and what i think i was pretty much put on
this earth to do, is be a counsellor.
A few more years working for corporation and i will return to
school and do some good!
I’m really good at
Listening, making people laugh, knowing about indie music!, dancing
til i fall over, cuddles, calming, having fun, meeting people...
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes! They are big and brown and look asian, on a small pale
irish girl.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Diceman, Yes Man, Lovely Bones, John Peels
autobiography.
Films: American History X, The Crow, Almost Famous, The Believer,
Life Is Beautiful, Amelie.
Music: Sigur ros, The National, Interpol, Bright Eyes, Bon Iver,
Frightened Rabbit, Idlewild, Tellison, Emmy the Great, Laura
Marling, HOTS, Adem, TANAOU... LOTS MORE!
The six things I could never do without
Music, long baths, my best friend, fireworks, honesty, laughter...
I realise a few of these may well seem like frivolous luxuries,
however, its my list, so kindly keep your well informed opinions to
yourself Squire!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Awful jokes, funny things that happened 10 years ago and thus look
like a mental giggling to myself walking down the street, pretty
boys, pretty girls, sexing the aforementioned pretty boys and
girls, the joys of work..................., Babies (in a normal
socially acceptable way), if i am responsible enough to get a
kitten, which ever gig/event/gathering/festival/party is keeping me
going through week, and mainly the impending thought of "oh, i
really should not have done that".
On a typical Friday night I am
I would usually be at a local gig, or drinking wine in the pub.
However, occassionaly i have the urge to be spontanious and go off
some where around the country to see friends in far off places.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have to use others as my moral compass regularly, and would
pretty much do anything for a story.
You should message me if
You like good music, your funny, you're not clingy, you're happy,
you dont lie, you are nice! ... im nice too! Its that simple!
