My self-summary
I write. I dance. I dream.
I live from my heart; I was taught that that's the only way to live.

People say I'm exotic; I think I'm plain. I don't know if I like being on this site.

I was born in Sweden and I grew up in Thailand. I've also lived in Chicago and spent four months in a tiny coastal village in Costa Rica. Now I call California home. I am fortunate to have amazing people in my life and am lucky to have lived in some of the most beautiful places on earth!
What I’m doing with my life
Bringin' sexy back!

Seriously (if there is such a thing):

Writing a book.

Also,

I teach English at a university. My goal is to teach writing at a community college. In the meantime I'm earning an MFA in creative writing. Previously, I taught yoga for seven years. I am passionate about helping students find their voices. I'm also getting involved in volunteer work in Los Angeles and picking up hobbies like rock climbing and belly dancing. I enjoy watching plays. I would like to find someone who can make me fall in love with LA.

The first things people usually notice about me
My name, my smile, my wit...

Lately people have been telling me that I look much younger than I am... I get carded constantly!

For some reason kids always stare at me and smile, especially in supermarkets :)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
life, stories, art...
Whether or not I like being on this site.
On a typical Friday night I am
watching a movie, catching a reading, listening to poetry, hanging out with girlfriends, people watching, wanting to see a play...
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 27–40
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
-you are intrigued... everything starts as friendship :)
OR
-You find me stunning! :)

It may take me a while to respond, don't take it personal :/

Intelligence and words are aphrodisiacs for me.
I would love to find someone who's positive but realistic.
I tend to be attracted to guys who have rhythm and soul...
Don't be intimidated if you're not 'educated,' it's highly overrated.

I'm noticing that shyness in approach is a trait I do not find attractive, so if you visit my profile a bunch and I'm also visiting yours, then take the initiative and make the first move :)

IF YOU CAN MAKE ME LAUGH!!! I'm a sucker for goofballs... & dimples. There, I said it! :)

If you have never used "lol" in a message.
Bonus points if you're from the East Coast, I don't know why...
I can't promise I will respond to every message I receive on here, but go on... Try me... I promise I won't bite... hard.

My goal is to one day respond to every message on here... maybe.

ATTN: Guys, please STOP with the 100% ENEMY pick-up line. I will most likely not respond. Please don't make me beg... I hate begging...

P.S. I love it when you boys start correcting your grammar for me... it's so cute!
