Sitting quietly as I slowly cooked alive in my house did not seem like a great idea, so I set out for something cooler and more fun.
Fortunately Portland Brewfest was underway. In a few short minutes I had tracked down some people from my lands, and in turn, they discovered some people of their own.
Now we were a group of five, with three mugs and a handful of tokens. Incredibly, more than one of them enjoyed the godly beer that is IPA.
Beer was expensive there, we quickly burned through our token allowance and went out to have a J on the waterfront.
It was then that it was decided swimming was in order. We picked up a couple more people, as well as our old friend whiskey, and headed for Sauvie Island. As if the world didn't already seem small, we again, ran into another six people that the group knew, and commandeered their kayaks.
Eventually the sun retreated over the horizon and we were chased from the water from officially type people on 4-wheelers. And so ended my random saturday...
