My self-summary
I am me.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working to grow a business and trying to stay sane as I do it. I attempt the latter through frequent gym visits, regularly keeping up with current events, taking respites with reading and video games, and relying on my friends and family for confidence and comfort. It's a bumpy ride, but it wouldn't mean a whole lot if it wasn't, right?
The first things people usually notice about me
If I'm with my brother, that I look an awful lot like him.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I like bouncing between fiction and non-fiction, but the ones that blur the line between the two are often my favorite.

Some cherished titles for me: The Man Nobody Knows, The Killer Angels, Atlas Shrugged, The Devil in the White City, Liar's Poker, Slaughterhouse-Five, John Adams, A Song of Fire and Ice, and Angels and Demons.

Movies: Huge fan. Oscar Season should be counted amongst Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall as a recognized period of time. Unfortunately, like my reading list, my "watch list" only gets longer.

Some favorites: Citizen Kane, Glory, Black Swan, any Pixar film, the LOTR series...there's really too many.

TV: If a show has witty writing, unique plots, and compelling characters, I'm hooked. As a result, Aaron Sorkin has me eating out of his hand.

Can't miss: Game of Thrones, Dexter, Newsroom, The West Wing, Star Trek, The Office, Entourage, South Park, Red Dwarf, Whose Line, True Detective
The six things I could never do without
The list that my brain compels me to write:
1. Oxygen.
2. Food.
3. Water.
4. Shelter.
5. Sleep.
6. Leisure.

The list that OkCupid wants:
1. Friends & Family.
2. Breakfast.
3. Exercise.
4. Sushi.
5. The West Wing.
6. My laptop.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My ambitions and how I can sate them. And food, definitely food.
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends in some setting or another. With them, all time is well-spent.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
...would no longer be private if I mentioned it here. Thus, I shall refrain. What now, OkCupid?
You should message me if want to.

Extra points, however, if you enjoy discussing monetary policy, love watching the US soccer team, or think mid-19th century American landscape paintings are just the greatest.
