books of impressionable note: Breakfast of Champions, All the Kings Men, Savage Detectives/2666, God of the Oppressed, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Shadows of Tender Fury, A Coney Island of the Mind, any J.L. Borges, Zora Neal is my homegirl (we have the same birthday) etc, etc.

Movies I can watch over and over: any Tarantino, Coen Bros, Kubrick or Scorsese, anything involving a descent into madness, westerns

Movies I'll only watch once: Requiem for a dream, the cable guy

I watch the worst kind of tv-- amish mafia, swamp people and dual survivor are frequently marathon-ed at my house. fuck Family Guy. Always Sunny cracks my shit up. Charlie being illiterate is my favorite. Larry David is an American hero.

Music: Bob Dylan changed my life then Jack White rearranged my face. The Flaming Lips show at Bonnaroo in 2007 is the best damn party I've ever been to. I loathe the top 40 but drop it on the floor, especially if it's a light up dance floor. Rolling Stones > Beatles, all the time and especially in karaoke. Aeroplane Over the Sea is the best thing that happened in the 90's. I do it on vinyl.

Food: anything as long as it's spicy.

My friend wrote this part of a country song for me drunk and out on a Friday night one time.

Sometimes she likes to get dressed up real nice / Sometimes I take her out to the bar so she can fight / Sometimes she wears that sexy lingerie / She likes to be treated like a lady somedays.

you're curious

I messaged you. I've wasted enough time on here to not really expect too much- and I know the dumb ass shit my female bodied friends get from most male bodied fuckwads on here. Let's get a beer and dissect how many oppressive social systems are perpetuated on this site. If I've contacted you duh I think you are cute but also that you may 'get' me in ways I don't even know yet. And that excites me.
