I've been living in Montréal for 5 years, I'm originally from Québec city but have traveled all over. I'm open-minded, easy going, witty, positive, spontaneous and outgoing. I love having unpredictable adventures: whether it is backpacking or a fancy destination, a dive bar or a new restaurant, an anti-capitalist documentary or a night at the symphony, either way, i'm good to go.

I like: parks and picnics on nice days, camping, biking (everywhere), going to shows, photography, the small pleasures of life like people-watching from my balcony, reading, wine, yoga, watching you tubes, cooking, spending time with friends, fine coffee, movies, massages and spas, museums, and reading up on international politics. I love music.

What i'm looking for: I'd love to meet for coffee or a drink, hang out as friends and see where it goes (getting off the computer as soon as possible!).

Ultimately, i'm looking for that connection with someone sharp, based on mutual respect and understanding. We'll laugh together about life's absurdities, be completely silly and playful but also engage in meaningful conversations.

I tend to be attracted to people who are creative, resourceful, funny, more pragmatic than I am, spontaneous, playful and open to new experiences. I really don't care how much you earn, as long as you've got some form of income and are passionate about something.

laugh, play, work... I've have been lucky enough to either travel, live or study in many countries. I love meeting new people. I much prefer being spontaneous to planning activities ahead of time. I work in the field of human rights for an NGO, mainly on women's rights. I get to travel to interesting places while enjoying the arts and culture, and great friends in this city.

Movies: Y tu mama tambien, Le placard, Le diner de con, Love Actually, Reality Bites, most films by Almodovar and Woody Allen, Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulin, L'auberge espagnole, Dancers in the Dark, Little Miss Sunshine, La guerre des tuques (lol)

Music: A wide-range of artists including the Pixies, the Cure, Beirut, M83, Ella Fitzgerald, Radiohead, the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Plants and Animals, the go team!, MGMT, Sufjan, Patrick Watson, Suuns, Dark Dark Dark, Beach House, MIA, Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Crystal Castles, Majical Cloudz, Phoenix. I also like 70s cumbia, indie rock, south african house, jazz, classical... I love going to shows when I can! Large concerts like Osheaga but also small venues like Sala Rosa, Il Motore, Casa.

Food: I love to cook Indian, Italian, Ethiopian, tapas, ect. I'm part of a cooking club. My friends say I'm a bit of a food snob but I do like poutine (i prefer it from small towns, with the freshest cheese!).

Though it's interesting to see what others write in this section, it's nice to share different interests in these areas... hell, i may never have seen an action movie if it wasn't for some of my friends/guy taking me there!

There is no one typical Friday night but going out with friends, having a nice dinner, cooking, crashing, watching a movie, hanging out in the park, going to a show, going on top of Mont-royal for beer

I don't have a TV, have never owned one, but i'm thinking of
getting one. I fear that I may get sucked into it and am embarassed
to admit I like tv reality in its worst forms!
