I am rock, paper, and scissors.

My Self-Summary

I'm an egoistic megalomaniac. I work a lot, mostly on world domination. When I'm not plotting the destruction of the universe, I coach a team of retired vampire hunters for an extreme knitting championship. On weekends I like to watch myself in the mirror combing my goatee and practice my evil laugh. I like to eat horses, puppies and communists [emo kids are too bitter and have no taste in general.] My favourite sports are downhill synchronized swimming and dinosaur wrestling. Also, bunnies scare me.

If you managed to read this far, you *may* actually have a sense of humor and may as well read the rest of my profile.

I have a very surreal sense of humor [no doubt influenced by Monty Python] and joke all the time. People tell me I'm funny and quite insane [in a good way, I hope] yet, I can hold a [serious] conversation about most topics. Pretty much the only thing I don't care for are sports. I'm not a homophobe, but I don't see a point in watching sweaty, burly men using a ball as an excuse to chase, touch and tackle each other...
;)

I don't take life or myself too seriously and I certainly don't act my age. I simply think that life is too short to be taken seriously. I'm a realist, but I have a positive and optimistic outlook on most things in life. I generally tend not to worry about things that are beyond my control. I am however very vocal and passionate about the things I care for.

I like to keep things simple, but of course, things are not obligated to adhere to my rules and be simple.

I'm looking for someone who...
...is honest, genuine and real
...has an awesome sense of humor and can laugh at my silly jokes
...is creative and imaginative
...is liberal and open minded
...is crazy and insane [in a good way] but can be serious when needed
...is not afraid to experience new things, going on random adventures
...has a desire to constantly learn about herself and the world we live in
...strives to constantly evolve and become a better human being
...likes similar things I like, such as movies, science, culture, art and music
...is curious, interested and informed about a wide range of topics
...is confident and comfortable with who she is and where her life is headed
...doesn't devote any time worshiping an imaginary/invisible dude sitting on a cloud
...takes care of herself [this might sound shallow, but I think 'body type' is self inflicted for the most part]

I do realize this may seem like a long 'list,' but I do believe that all human beings possess all possible characteristics to a certain degree.

What I’m doing with my life

I am quite active professionally and socially. I work in a high stress environment at a reputable company, doing what I absolutely love. I could say I am quite successful, I have a career, a car and my own place. Although I understand the emphasis most people place on money, material wealth doesn't really mean a whole lot to me. I value the fact that I love what I do, the company I surround myself with, the constant thirst for knowledge and the strive to evolve and progress much more. I'm quite confident with who/what I am and have a very good idea where I'm headed and what am I doing with my life.

Because of the nature of my work, I need a lot of down time. Down time can be anything from relaxing at home doing absolutely nothing, playing a video game [yes, I do play occasionally, deal with it] watching a movie, reading, cooking, going out for drinks, a gourmet dinner, an art exhibition, attending a zombie walk [!?] through letting loose at a rave, dancing till daybreak [yes, I'm one of the guys who loves to dance] depending on the mood. I am quite spontaneous...

Outside work: Olympic archery, Kung Fu, yoga. Wishlist: snowboarding [I know, it's not really a list.]

I’m really good at

Making people laugh. They either laugh at me or with me...

The first things people usually notice about me

You mean, other than being a cross-dressing midget pro wrestler with a peg leg?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Reading: I'm very curious about a broad range of topics and most of my reading happens online. History, Physics and Technology are of particular interest to me, but I also tend to spend a lot of time browsing movie related websites, therefore it is inevitable that I pick up a lot of useless trivia.

Books: The Name of the Rose, 1984, Lord of the Rings, Foundation series and something about dolphins and mice by some guy called Douglas Adams... yeah I know, don't ask...

Movies: Blade Runner, Amélie, City of Lost Children, Moulin Rouge, Sin City, The Shawshank Redemption, 300, Grindhouse, Pulp Fiction, Se7en, Memento, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, The Matrix, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Léon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Alien, The Big Lebowski, Kill Bill, Trainspotting, Ed Wood, The Royal Tenenbaums, Let the Right One In, Juno and many more. I'll add more when I have the inspiration...

Obviously, movies play a significant role in my life.

TV: Despite not watching a lot of TV, there are a few shows that I try to keep up with, like House, Heroes Futurama BSG or The Big Bang Theory to name a few.

Music: Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, Rammstein, Iggy Pop, The Beastie Boys, RHCP to name a few. I used to be a big fan of new wave and punk and occasionally when I feel nostalgic, I listen to '80s music. Go figure. For the past many years though, I spend most of my time listening to psytrance, if you know what that is, you should definitely drop me a line! More recently I also started to listen to dubstep.
:)

Food: I like to eat healthy and prepare my own food, whenever possible. I like to use fresh ingredients, usually bought from local producers. Generally, I'm not picky about food and I like everything hot and spicy. I am a vegetarian at heart and try not to eat meat, but I don't think I have the conviction or dedication to fully become one.

The six things I could never do without

Other than the usual stuff necessary for survival, I'm pretty low maintenance.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to achieve complete world domination...

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't think there is such a thing as a typical Friday night. It can be anything from going to the gym, listening to music, going to see a movie, dinner with friends, cooking and watching movies with friends, going to a rave or just staying home doing absolutely nothing...

Oh, and plotting to achieve complete world domination...

You should message me if

If you find any of the above interesting...
