I was born and raised in Kentucky. I'm a simple girl who likes the
outdoors. I don't mind getting all dressed up occasionally but
mostly I just love to be comfortable in a pair of jeans and my hair
pulled back in a pony tail. I talk a lot, thanks to growing up with
my Mom who never stops! But I try to let others get in a word or
two, I promise! I recently graduated with my Associates and
Registration in Medical Assisting this past November. I am working
in a Dermatology office and love what I do! I work with all women
though so I don't always love going in to work ...ya know what I
mean? I love to spend time outdoors. I like to camp, fish, go on
hikes or nature walks, boating, working in my yard or garden, or
even just sitting out on my large front porch watching the local
traffic pass by. I love to read. I will read most anything but
don't really care for your typical romance novel type of books. I'm
more of a murder/mystery, sci-fi, horror type of girl. I'm health
conscious and have in the past few years started eating healthier
and exercising more. It's important to me that I am involved with
others who are also health conscious. I love to cook, especially
meals that include something I've picked fresh out of my garden!
I'm very active and would rather be doing something than watching
something. Except for sports. I'm not athletic at all, so I just
watch! I love to watch KY basketball and any pro teams that my KY
boys have been signed on. I also love to go to local hockey games
but I don't have a favorite team (yet). I consider myself to be
quite self-sufficient and I've noticed that it seems to aggravate
me when I'm around people who are not. I like to have a drink
occasionally, whether it be a glass of wine or a good imported beer
or just a glass of spiced rum and diet rootbeer, but it's more a
social thing and I don't feel the need to "party" all the time and
don't really wish to be around someone who does. I do occasionally
smoke cigarettes when I have a drink but I'm trying to give it up
completely. I have grown up going to church but after my divorce
have not been to mine but a few times since. I still have my faith
but I have questioned who I really am and feel that I still need a
lot of work in that area. I ran with the wrong crowd when I was
younger and have an interesting past because of it. I'm not proud
of everything I've done but I wouldn't change anything because it
has made me who I am today. I hope that doesn't sound too cliche!
I'm divorced, as I mentioned earlier, and not looking to ever be
married again. That isn't to say that I do not want a serious
relationship. I want to be with someone who has to chose to be
committed to me on a daily basis and not just take up my space
because we are bound by law. I have a daughter that is going to
college in PA and two step children that I'm still very close to.
My children are my world! I think that should cover just about
everything ... If there's anything else you feel you need to know
about me message me and I'll tell you!
