I am tactful, green, and active.
My Self-Summary
Looking to meet fun guys to hang out with etc. I go camping and
hiking about every chance I get. I like recycling, eating real
food, getting drunk, and long talks about life. I don't like
latte's, lack of ambition, or apathy. I also enjoy biking, mainly
just casually, I don't have an awesome road bike, yet. From north
dakota originally and I am it's biggest supporter even that state
can be hard to love sometimes :) Drop me a line and say something.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I work in fundraising for an environmental non profit in
Saint Paul and I love it. I am not as much of an activist as I once
was, but I still have my causes. I am trying to meet people and get
used to life out of college. Lately I have gotten a lot into riding
bike, taking the bus, finding ways to reduce my impact on the
environment and living sustainably.
I’m really good at
I am really good at making people laugh and feel comfortable around
me, unless I don't like you, haha.
The first things people usually notice about me
my green eyes if I am wearing a green shirt
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I have recently read a lot of David Sedaris, I did not like the
latest book so much though. , MPR, the current. anything made from
scratch.
The last few books I read: sellevision, When you are engulfed in
flames, the namesake, my life so far, a walk in the woods, under
the banner of heaven, into thin air, Into the Wild and the Guide to
Simple Living.
My favorite movies are probably all of the Christopher Guest
collection, Fargo, amelie, rules of attraction, an inconvient
truth, shut up and sing, steel magnolias, first wives club,
tarnation and many more.
For music I listen to the current 89.3 a lot. On my ipod I have
been listening to a lot of The decemberists, fleet foxes, st.
vincent, andrew bird, regina spektor, Sia, ingrid michaelson, the
doors, crosby stills nash and sometimes young.
I am on my way to being a foodie, but its taking me a while to get
there. I enjoy cooking expecially with a glass of wine in hand, and
I do a decent job. I am flirting with being a vegetarian, but I
know that I will most likely never completly give up meat.
The six things I could never do without
red wine, french press coffee, hummus, nature ie camping, my bike,
stimulating conversation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
purpose
On a typical Friday night I am
in the wilderness, at a bar, or at target
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I like to clean...it makes me calm. Not in an ocd way, just in a
'well now that is done' way.
You should message me if
you have something to say. or if you know what a yurt is :)
