My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a huge nerd. I read comics and go to conventions and renaissance faires and all that good nerdy stuff. I like games too but don't have much time to play them. I like running, hiking, and being active outside. I walk everywhere I can because biking in the city scares the crap out of me. I find new running routes by intentionally getting lost in new neighborhoods. I love learning and am not likely to ever stop. I enjoy museums and art festivals. I mean, seriously, my first degree is in art. Of course I like art. I'm not easily offended and, more often than not, very blunt and honest. I'm very giving and wish I was financially able to give more. I donate blood on a regular basis because I have a rare blood type (A-) and it's rewarding to know I've helped others. Also, I enjoy playing in the mud and people watching.
I'm an introvert and it takes me awhile to get used to new people, so don't be surprised if I'm quiet on a first meeting or quiet in general. Once I get used to you I'm more willing to be silly and ridiculous with you.
There's no singular characteristic that will make me like you. It's a combination of characteristics laid over a good foundation of human decency. I'm smart and I know when to be serious, but the thought of going through every day serious as stone is boring as sin. I like being silly. It's fun and uplifting.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated SCAD with a BFA in Animation and Sequential art and am writing a book. Ideas roll around in my head like marbles, and not playing with them enough makes me miserable.

I'm going back to school for an EMT certification because I've realized how much I hate working from home and sitting at a computer all day. I haven't given up on art, I just want a more reliable paycheck and time to work on my own art rather than endless hours on someone elses project for barely a living wage.

I hope to travel more, and become fluent in a second language.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding humor in the everyday, drawing, distracting myself, cooking, researching, being optimistic, listening
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I touch my nose a lot. That's because I had corrective jaw surgery for tmj and only 25% sensation came back to my upper front teeth, upper lip, and nose. Kissing is still awesome!

I like apocalyptic and dystopian future themes, fantasy and sci-fi, zombies, the supernatural, super powers, B horror, classic literature, British humor, police procedural, documentary, occasional fluff, comics, manga, and westerns. I read a lot. Seriously, a lot.

I watch TV via Netflix and Hulu in the same sort of genres listed above.

I like movies and food, but not food at the movies. Popcorn is disgusting. I'm not opposed to trying new foods, but I am the only person I've ever met that doesn't like ice cream or bacon. I'm also not a big fan of chocolate or cheesecake. Guess I need to turn in my 'Girl Card.' I like healthy foods, but I'm not afraid of a big cheeseburger with fries.

I prefer RPGs, first person adventure, and puzzle games. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, God of War, Bioshock, Final Fantasy, Professor Layton, Little Big Planet, Okami, Dragon Age.

What it really comes down to, is that I am a cat, and one day, curiosity is going to kill me. Most likely through food poisoning.

I also like the internet, which doesn't fall easily into any of the above categories.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. art
2. music
3. books
4. cereal
5. sunscreen
6. a sense of humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Story plot. What I'm going to read next. What's for dinner. Where's my cat. Where did I acquire that bruise. If zombies shambled in at work, what's the best course of action. Opening an Etsy shop. Thinking that I think to much. I am that person for whom two choices is sometimes one choice too many.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I typically work Friday evenings, but on Friday mornings I'll see a movie if there's something out worth seeing. If not, running or reading or working or dicking around on the internet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a rock star in my shower.
One day, I'll make a duck bill that I can wear over my mouth in all my online photos so I will, truly, have the best duck lips on the internet.
