Edit your notesI am mellow, guileless, and progressive.
My Self-Summary
So I have a history of taking random hobbies, becoming borderline obsessed with them, and then moving on to something else. Recent projects include climbing, cycling, soccer, darts, chess, wine, etc. Let me know if you have any suggestions for the next one.
I have a Siamese cat named Cheeto. He tries to kill me daily. My favorite number is 40585. Guess why.
It's funny how many friends I have found on here by accident. Here's a list so far: TheyCallMeStace, vanessasary, somecallmetim52, slowlysiren, silverlily7.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty tall too so that would be a safe answer.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson is great. Pretty much anything Judd Apatow touches too - especially Superbad and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Hayao Miyazaki is amazing (Spirited Away). Donnie Darko is one of my favorites.
Music: I mostly like indie/alternative bands...stuff you would find on pitchforkmedia.com. Some bands I'm listening to: Fleet Foxes, MGMT, Radiohead, The Antlers, Sunset Rubdown, Wolf Parade, Jose Gonzalez, Jens Lekman, Los Campesinos!, Frightened Rabbit, MIA, Grizzly Bear, Beach House, The Knife, Deerhunter, Islands, No Age.
Food: definitely sushi (Kubo's!).
The six things I could never do without
2. My bicycle - parking is expensive and biking is fun.
3. Books - I like having them around even though I usually read them only once.
4. Computer - mostly for music and streaming tv shows
5. Chacos - I don't wear shoes unless someone makes me
6.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mostly thoughts like: how much longer til obgyn is over???
Already done with two of my dreaded ones: internal medicine and obgyn. Looking forward to psychiatry next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing darts at Gingerman in Houston.
Going to various bars/coffee shops in the Montrose/Westheimer area (Inversion Coffee House, Empire, Agora, Brazil, Poison Girl). Still finding more places to go.
Watching a movie at my apartment or in a theater (Angelika)
Studying or at the hospital
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I played WoW for 4 years. Don't tell anyone.
You should message me if
I just saw a lot of profiles that had this exact response. I need to put more effort into this profile. Just push the message or wink button...you're obviously bored and so am I.
And I'm tacking on some gibberish at the end. For some reason I care that I get 100% on the profile thing and I need 1000 words in the profile to do so :/ My apologies. Here are some words from Samuel M. Johnson:
The day with its cares and perplexities is ended and the night is now upon us. The night should be a time of peace and tranquility, a time to relax and be calm. We have need of a soothing story to banish the disturbing thoughts of the day, to set at rest our troubled minds, and put at ease our ruffled spirits.
And what sort of story shall we hear? Ah, it will be a familiar story, a story that is so very, very old, and yet it is so new. It is the old, old story of love.
Two lovers sat on a park bench, with their bodies touching each other, holding hands in the moonlight.
There was silence between them. So profound was their love for each other, they needed no words to express it. And so they sat in silence, on a park bench, with their bodies touching, holding hands in the moonlight.
Finally she spoke. "Do you love me, John?" she asked. "You know I love you, darling," he replied. "I love you more than tongue can tell. You are the light of my life, my sun, moon and stars. You are my everything. Without you I have no reason for being."
Again there was silence as the two lovers sat on a park bench, their bodies touching, holding hands in the moonlight. Once more she spoke. "How much do you love me, John?" she asked. He answered: "How much do I love you? Count the stars in the sky. Measure the waters of the oceans with a teaspoon. Number the grains of sand on the sea shore. Impossible, you say."
"Yes and it is just as impossible for me to say how much I love you."
"My love for you is higher than the heavens, deeper than Hades, and broader than the earth. It has no limits, no bounds. Everything must have an ending except my love for you."
There was more of silence as the two lovers sat on a park bench with their bodies touching, holding hands in the moonlight.
Once more her voice was heard. "Kiss me, John," she implored. And leaning over, he pressed his lips warmly to hers in fervent osculation.
