I've been in LA a little under a year now and absolutely love it. Sure there's the homeless problem, gun crazed lunatics, and traffic that makes you late for every appointment, but as long as I wake up with the same amount of holes I went to bed with, I consider that a win! I'm constantly meeting new people and there are lots of interesting places to eat and hang out at. Now I just need a romantically inclined female companion to experience these new things with! I do a bit of travelling throughout the year to various film festivals and conferences around the country, so someone that occasionally likes to travel and have a couple adventures with me would be great. Obviously a person who enjoys films would be ideal, but I've got other interests as well. I'm a nerd at heart (Some examples: I make a weekly trip to the comic book store, enjoy other nerdy/geeky things like Doctor Who, video games, and Joss Whedon flicks) and like people who can appreciate letting go and being a little silly at times. I love to laugh and making other people laugh. I've had great times going to comedy shows since moving to LA so it would be great to have someone to go to those with too.

I've run my own business for the last five years; it's my passion project. I also do a lot of freelance work in marketing and web design. My schedule is pretty flexible and it's easy to just take off and do something fun. Working with indie filmmakers is my live, and while it might not always pay for all the niceties, I can't really see myself doing anything else in the long term.

I'm a film reviewer and consultant. I'm working on growing my business, meeting new people, and helping independent content creators get their work seen. When I'm not doing those things I'm exploring, meeting new people, and just trying to take in everything LA has to offer!

Finding a good time in most situations, adapting to new places and people, and making people laugh. I'm great at finding my way around places, even if I haven't been there before, and I think I've been told I was a good listener, but I could be wrong since I was really paying attention at the time.

I'm very approachable and have a good sense of humor. I've been told I have nice eyes, a warm smile, and a voice that should be on the radio. I get "don't I know you from somewhere" almost daily, and no, you don't know me...Yet :)

I love the classics, biographies, and any book by Chuck Klosterman. I'm a fan of comics and nerd shows like Spaced, Doctor Who, and 80's movies and music. Documentary movies can be fun, and with food I'm pretty much a meat and potato guy, which pretty much ostracizes me from most of the health nuts in this city. I do love watching you thin people freeze when it gets in the 70's though.

How I can help the people in my life both personally and professionally. I also think back to a lot of the decisions I've made to get to where I am. I don't regret anything, but it's fun sometimes to think about what could have been, and what's coming up in the future.

Either at the movies, at home writing or reviewing flicks, or at a film festival. I'm still relatively new to LA so I also enjoy discovering new places to hang out and have a good time. I also enjoy going to comedy clubs, finding all night diners, and just driving around listening to music or podcasts.
