My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a fairly quiet and shy guy who is currently working on an associates degree in Computer Networking.
I also make some weird obscure references to pop culture things that no one ends up catching and then I laugh to myself. If I'm being honest I'm a little too self-conscious to send the first message. It's mostly because I'm too worried about saying the wrong thing I suppose.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working towards an AAS degree in Computer Networking, after that I will find an entry level or better job and begin working towards a Bachelors degree. I'm a bit of a nerd to be honest, I play card games, video games, board games, and sometimes pen and paper rpgs. Currently I'm working at NRP Inc.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told I give really good backrubs and foot rubs. I'm also pretty good at diagnosing and fixing problems on computers. I'm pretty good at listening and I've been told I have a great memory.
I've started playing a simplified version of DnD 2nd edition and I'd like to think I'm getting pretty good at it. In particular I'm getting good at the strategy part of it. I also play Magic the Gathering and I'd like to think I'm pretty good at that which plays into the strategy part of role-playing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm kind of tall so that could be the first thing you notice. Or you might notice that I'm pretty pale skinned. I can't really think of another thing that would catch ones eye first.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite book definitely has to be Ender's Game, however Ender's Shadow is a really close second. I also really like the Halo books. I'm starting in on a theoretical physics book by Brian Greene and a couple of books on space and time by Stephen Hawking. I'm also into webcomics, I'm waiting on Homestuck to update but I'm also reading Will Save World for Gold which is a DnD based webcomic, Sam and Fuzzy which is a funny misadventure story, and Flipside which is a pretty in depth world with some crazy characters.

My favorite movies are probably Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Serenity, most Sci-Fi movies, and I really like stuff with a high cheese factor currently my favorite cheesy movie is Legendary Assassin. Lately I've been on a low budget kick, a lot of Magnolia films really, and I've found that I Melt With You, The Vicious Kind, and I am not a Hipster are fantastic films. Seriously, watch them.

When it comes to music I'm pretty relaxed, I'll name a few, Foals, The Black Keys, Andrew Bird, The Decemberists, Yo-yo Ma, Mumford and Sons, Modest Mouse, Jim Guthrie, Josh Ritter, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, and I've been getting into some swing music lately. Especially Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. My favorite albums are Armchair Apocrypha by Andrew Bird and Morning Phase by Beck. As a result of my low budget kick I've been on I have to add Radical Face and Canines to my list of music. I started listening to some tiny desk npr stuff and found Jessica Lea Mayfield. She's pretty fuckin good.

My favorite foods have to be Spaghetti, Pizza, Hamburgers, and Chicken Alfredo.

I'm only starting to watch stuff on tv again but I've been enjoying Lost, Doctor Who, Star Trek the Original Series, Sherlock, Supernatural, Hannibal, some Anime, and just about any sci-fi show.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. My Computer
3. The Internet
4. My Friends
5. My Family
6. My Phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about the future, what's coming, what will change, and how I might have to adapt. I also think a lot about upcoming technologies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends casually drinking and just having a good time. Other than that I can be found sitting at my computer and watching stuff on Netflix or youtube.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think about killing myself rather frequently, I don't like who I am or what I'm doing with my life, and I have no self-esteem/confidence.
