I'm just getting back to Albany after a month in Beijing. I'm likely heading back at the beginning of June, so I'm basically here to meet people in the short time I'm in the States. I tend to move around pretty frequently, so I'm fairly accustom to making new friends in short periods of time. Right now I'm helping run a company and applying to grad school, so I don't have tons of spare time. But any spare time I have, I'm likely going to concerts in the area, down in NYC, or at galleries trying to see some good art. Anyone in a 2hr radius that wants to do any of these things, feel free to message me.

I graduated from university studying Philosophy and East Asian Studies. Afterwards I moved to China for 2 years to brush up on Chinese before heading to grad school. Somehow that turned into helping set up a sourcing operation over there, and then moving back to do sales management for my business (a printing company). Three years later I'm finally leaving the business world to go back to grad school for Pre-modern Chinese Lit (total opposite end of the spectrum).

5) Startup ideas (My favorite so far is Hai5.me .... it's a community based service where you can pay nearby members to high-five you in socially awkward moments).

Earlier today I was walking and coughed at the same time a nearby train blew its horn. I paused and then coughed again, to make sure I didn't somehow make the noise.
