My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Moving to Berkeley to start grad school. This has been a long time coming (I went on a 6 year detour after undergrad), so I'm pretty excited. First time living on the West Coast (previously lived in New York, Boston, Beijing and Shanghai), so I'm looking forward to exploring (and avoiding winter). If I'm not studying, I'll likely be looking for music, food, or art. Anyone who wants to join, feel free to message me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from university studying Philosophy and East Asian Studies. Afterwards I moved to Shanghai for 2 years to study Chinese before heading to grad school. Somehow that turned into helping set up a sourcing operation, and then moving back to the US to do sales management. Three years later I'm finally leaving the business world to return to studies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

I sometimes get "why do you look so angry?" I'm not. I just space out a lot, and forget what kind of face I'm making.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm changing this to "Things that I really enjoy":

1) Coffee
2) Whiskey (Typically rye and bourbon, but lately I've been trying to learn more about scotch).
3) Tea (I currently have a few kilos of tea in my apartment)
4) A really good chef's knife
5) Live music (honestly, almost any kind)
6) GIFs of animals doing funny things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1) Food that I want to cook and/or eat
2) Papers that I want to write
3) Puns that I thought of too late, and whether or not I should say them anyways
4) Should I get a dog
5) How do I explain what I'm doing with my life
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cooking with friends, reading books, or at a concert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Earlier today I was walking and coughed at the same time a nearby train blew its horn. I paused and then coughed again, to make sure I didn't somehow make the noise.
