On my own awhile now (think I am levelheaded from that) but something is missing. Career was front and center too long, took its toll and that day came that my priorities were changed indeed. I am an active participant in this thing called life, and am confident that I will find the person who is looking for me.

Seeking (taking a deep breath, now, focusing):
positive, smart, sensitive, unafraid, explorer-type, tuned in to others and to the environment, a doer, a learner, teacher, seeker, survivor of past, person of integrity. Partner to let each other in but still seek others out, to help and be helped. To travel and enjoy returning home, to weather together. To laugh -alot, really alot-, to listen, to share, to support, to simply be. To hug, to surprise, to delight, to point out, to give space, to ask, to listen, to respect. There you have it.

Please, no Miserablers. When "life shows up" you will see me focus on the task at hand, pondering only on what is right with this, what's my opportunity? I may begin from the pragmatic but lighter side and spontaneity always win out. I LOVE to play. -And the softer side is definitely there, largely reserved (for you).

Backing off the career and reevaluating, well, truly learning what my priorities are. I was involved with care of the parents as they aged (absolutely the right thing to do). Reshuffled the deck, discarded, and now drawing (and I will let others deal-part of the time!). Learning anything-all the time, doing, seeking, trying, celebrating, persevering. There are so many options -and blessings- and I am certain that I am to share their discovery with someone very special.

Being upbeat. Meeting challenge. Engaging others and persuasive communication. Helping others as someone has helped me. I am creative and spontaneous, and I love to play!

I offer another kind of perspective, use humor to make work and play enjoyable. I try to be inclusive rather than exclusive.

Always have 3-5 reads going: Michael Malone and Bill Bryson, business section/journals/trade info. Sports: ACC basketball, Duke (ahem), love to watch sports (although I do need a source to learn about strategy or a rule change if I am unclear -help me?). LIVE Music-all kinds, favs are blues, rock, funk, R&B, southern traditional-Let's GO! Food-try to watch it, sometimes cheat, like to try new things. Like the performing arts, community theater, art, small town festivals.
