I love a good book (generally history/biographies, or science
fiction, but I'll read pretty much anything that isn't Jane Austin
or the like) and my current library spans everything from Stephen
King to Douglas Adams to Arthur Clarke and Issac Asimov. I don't
know if they exactly count as books, but I love The Far Side and
Calvin and Hobbes.
As for TV, I generally avoid shows with a laugh track, but I watch
Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, Castle, The Daily Show
(the best news show on television), Firefly and Archer. I also love
good science shows or TV where I might learn something, so I watch
NOVA and Frontline pretty regularly. I also love BBC programming,
so Doctor Who, Top Gear, Luther and Sherlock Holmes are all on my
favorites list as well.
I don't go to movies that much (Netflix is cheaper, and usually has
a better selection), but I'll watch pretty much anything that gets
decent reviews or otherwise catches my interest.
My tastes in music are pretty varied, and about the only things I
don't listen to are top 40 or country. I use Pandora to try and
find new stuff to listen to, so I pretty much never listen to the
local radio stations.
Food wise, I'll eat pretty much anything once, although sushi
creeps me out. I love good Mexican food, which is one of the best
things about living in Tucson.
