I am trying to grow up all over again in a small town. I am new to
the midwest and I like not knowing things about it, like where Iowa
is, or how to make small talk. I also like that Ann Arbor is 10
square blocks, and that my neighbor is also my video store clerk.

Unable to resist books, movies, music if they make me dance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to teach political theory to young adults. Or the reverse, if
that sounds more radical. Young adults = people who were 11 years
old when 9/11 happened, or who have never seen Bill & Ted's
Excellent Adventure. They will change political theory one day.
