I am oddly extroverted, introverted, and sexy.
My Self-Summary
First off - my dance card is completely full at the moment, and I'm
not looking to get involved with anyone else. (Although if the
right person comes along, I won't say no.)
I'm
polyamorous,
queer,
sapiosexual, and I live with my
(male) partner. He knows about all of my relationships, and I know
about his. I'm a
musician at heart, although not as much
as I used to be, and I don't play nearly often enough. I
read more than is probably
healthy (does anyone else you know read while walking,
all the
time?) I'm
kinky, mostly
submissive, but not always. I'm
really bad at
writing these things. I'm
voluptuous, and I seem to be turning
into a marathoner. Who knew?
Also, I don't have a cam, so if that's all you're interested in,
don't even bother.
What I’m doing with my life
I work, way too much. I spend too much time online, particularly on
LiveJournal,
and recently
Ravelry. I hang out with my friends and
lovers. I
cross-stitch,
sing,
knit and play
board games. I'm in a choir, I cook,
and I'm currently booking well into next month.
I’m really good at
Reading. Playing the piano. Listening. Making homemade, handmade
bread (none of this breadmachine stuff for me, tyvm.) I don't suck
at knitting, and I enjoy cross-stitching.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. My eyes. My smile. Oh, and the
cleavage. It's really hard to miss
that.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(A) I read too much to have favourite books, but I have favourite
authors:
Anne
Bishop, early
Sharon Shinn,
Tad Williams,
Neal Stephenson,
Margaret George,
Jasper
Fforde... the list goes on. My dirty little reading secret is
that I love
cheesy historical
romance novels. I also read a lot of historical works,
primarily biographies, but pretty much anything that deals with
social history (particularly of Britain) is on my list. I still own
all of my cultural history books (Derrida, Foucault, etc.) and mean
to re-read them (with enough time to pay attention to them) but
haven't managed to yet. (B) Bound, Secretary, Titan AE, Pirates of
the Caribbean, Meet the Feebles, Kissed... the list goes on. Just
don't ask me to watch Kids again. (Ask why, if you're curious.) (C)
Ani DiFranco, Le Tigre, Covenant, Kristin Hersh. The list goes on.
(D)
Sushi!!!, Saag
Paneer, Risotto, hoememade lasagne, homemade bread with old cheddar
and gherkins, or good olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The six things I could never do without
Books. Friends. Pens and paper. Snuggles. A bathtub.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Books. Communication.
Feeeeeeelings. "Why do I work
here again?" Sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Curled up at home with my partner, watching a movie or TV on DVD.
Or over at my girlfriend's place, doing the same thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I buy chocolate often, but don't eat it. I buy it for the reactions
I get from the people I give it to.
You should message me if
You're literate, interesting, and not an asshole. Don't bother
messaging me if you use 'r' instead of 'are', 'u' instead of 'you',
or anything similar. I may be a snob about it, but I can't respect
anyone who can't be bothered to use proper English.
Also, I don't have a webcam, so if that's all you're interested in,
don't even bother.
Alsoalso, if you don't have anything in your profile, I'm not going
to be likely to want to talk to you.
As I mentioned above - I'm not really looking to get involved with
anyone else at the moment.
