My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, I'm Kayleigh.

I'm one of the easiest going people you'll ever meet. Kind of a Tomboy because I like being comfortable in my own skin. Funny and sick sense of humor. I look younger than I am. Would rather spend a day chatting in a coffee shop than hitting the strip. But a cozy bar is a great compromise.

I'm a Stage hand and have worked on some great things with some great people. Currently working on Broadway as an IA Apprentice.

I'm definitely a Geek. An avid Comic book collector. I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones, Firefly, Doctor Who, and other geeky shows. I play a few table top and RPGs. I'm addicted to Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders, Munchkin, Smallworld and others.

I also love body mod, and tattoos. It helps that my family runs a tattoo expo every year so I've been going since I was eight. Any questions about Mods ask away.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a Theatrical Stage Hand and Props Artisan. Just started my Local One Apprenticship. I've stage managed for Arlo Gutherie, worked on a show with with Josh Radnor, Matthew Brodrick, Kelley O'Hara, and James Earl Jones. I have 15+ Broadway shows under my belt.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Random comic book trivia and bizarre social science topics like Flint Knapping and Reciprocal Reciprocity in early Homids. ( Yes I'm that big of a geek)

Also using big long anthropological terms because I miss academia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile and sense of humor. I'm always smiling or laughing my ass off about something. I can also go from being quiet and overly polite to swearing like a sailor in about 5 seconds flat. Just enough time to make an off handed smart ass remark.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music, more than anything, is something I couldn't get by without. I've seen more concerts than I can count and I have a list of artists I need to see before I or they die, which ever comes first. But here are some of my top music choices:

Foo Fighters, REM, The Jealous Sound, John Mellencamp, The Afghan Whigs, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Snow Patrol, Enter the Haggis, Gaslight Anthem, Temple of the Dog, The Killers, Vast, Rise Against, World Inferno Friendship Society, Talking Heads, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Carbon Leaf, Tom Petty, Band of Horses, Queen, Cage the Elephant, Pearl Jam

My dads worked in Rock n Roll for almost 30 years and so he and I see shows all the time. I've seen over 60 individual shows in my life and have 6 scheduled for later this year.

Books and plays: Shakespeare,The Pillowman, The Miskitu people of Awastara,Hound of the Baskerville, Stone butch Blues,The Iliad, Screwtape Letters, Primate's Memoir, Ancient Bodies, Modern Lives, Order 66 or any of the Karen Traviss Star Wars Series,

Movies: Clue, Avengers, Boondock Saints, Sweeney Todd the original, The Departed, Amadeus, Star Trek new and old Into Darkness is the best, not going to lie!, Sherlock Holmes

Shows: Walking Dead, QI, Game of Thrones Doctor Who, Star Trek, Deadliest Warrior, 1,000 Ways to Die, Face Off, Project Runway, Cadfael,

Food: Pan Fried Cauliflower, Sushi, Irish soda Bread, Steak, Massaman Curry
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, Music, a good craft beer, Theater, internet (lets be honest), a multitool.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I'm making the right choices for my career, or if my career is what I should really be centering on right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Generally working/running a show in Midtown, some times go out after work with coworkers. My "weekend" is Sunday night to Tuesday. So if I'm going out its normally on Sunday or Monday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ask me anything but I've put a family member through rehab comes to mind.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're kind of a geek, a music snob, or lover of craft beer. If you're a combination of all three where have you been? You're looking for something beyond a hook up and are tired of games.
