My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's always a challenge to summarize one's self. How do you sum up a lifetime of shaping experiences into a bite-sized blurb?
I don't know, but here goes.

I was born in Arizona, raised in both New Jersey and Oregon, then moved back and forth and all across America since.

Most of my friends and family are spread to the winds, so I would love to find some people in the area to hang out with.

I love doing just about everything. Photography, music, movies, board games, video games, reading, karaoke, new foods, rock climbing, biking, hiking, skydiving - there aren't many things I don't enjoy, with the right company.

I can get along with just about anyone, though people who can appreciate a wry sense of humor loaded with sarcasm are probably going to jive best.

I'm pretty alright. I want to meet someone who's pretty alright themselves.
What I’m doing with my life

Oh, and finding ways to be a better person. But who isn't?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh and feel better about life.
People have said my cooking and baking has gotten pretty stellar, too.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my sense of humor. Maybe my eyes. Hard to say.

The Coldfire Trilogy was interesting, along with most of CS Freidman's work. World War Z was a hoot. Big fan of Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files. The Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear. Excellent writing, there. I just finished Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy (for the third time) and it continues to blow me away. His Stormlight Archive series has some of the greatest visuals I've ever had planted in my head. Peter Hamilton's "The Commonwealth Saga" and "The Void Trilogy," are fantastic.

The Fountain, Casshern, The Crow, Hero, Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle were highly enjoyable. Garden State, Zombieland, Kick-Ass, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Lock Stock, Equillibrium, American Beauty, Leon, Underworld and Red vs Blue also come to mind. Oh, and there are a few TV series that I've fell for. Firefly is amazing and Arrested Development is seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

Mere words can't describe how I feel about music. I love music with the burning passion of a thousand desert suns.

My top 5 favorites are currently: The One AM Radio, The Go Find, The National, Joseph Arthur and VNV Nation.

6 recent love affairs:

Beat Connection - Silver Screen
Of Monsters and Men - Mountain Sound
Avalanche City - Go
Foals - Spanish Sahara
The Shins - Australia
Bon Iver - Blood Bank

Looking to get together with friends for any random sort of encounter. From D&D to Rock Band, from musical collaboration to steaks and kabobs - anything is possible amongst good company.

I've always said; It's not what you're doing, but who you're doing it with.

I want a lot of things in life, but sometimes all I really want is someone to hold hands and sing loudly with.

... if you want to laugh. Between the witty banter, and the dumb jokes, it's gonna happen. Also, if you want someone that will sing along to hits of the 80s and 90s, I'm your man.
