Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi. I'm an INTP and never have been otherwise. I'm a tiny bit shy
sometimes, but nonetheless confident and working my way back up to
If I've sent you a message and you have the time to read this far
but not to message me back, send me a wink to let me know. I won't
send you another message unless you actually reply, I promise, I'm
just curious how many people read these things.
I will tease you if I like you, but I would rather give that up
entirely than be cruel. I'd much rather you teased me right
Also, I like to engage in random acts of weirdness. I'm the sort
who has no qualms about ducking under a stranger's umbrella and
striking up a conversation. Or standing uncomfortably close to
someone I've just met to see if they react. Yes, this is entirely
intentional and only for the humor value. Close talkers make me
If someone walks in on me on the john, I'm not embarrassed for
myself. That stuff doesn't bother me at all. Nor am I embarrassed
by very private topics of conversation or other things looked down
upon by the Puritanical types.
Along the same lines, I am very comfortable at parties where I
don't know a soul. I pop around from group to group and learn
everybody's name. I've never crashed a wedding, but can see it
being fun as hell.
However, when I'm not in party mode, I sometimes can't even bear to
make small talk. I'm the sort who will sometimes actually answer
the question "How are you?" and "What's up?" and in certain moods I
expect to get meaningful answers to the same questions from
I am adventurous, patient, and easygoing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm hiking the appalachian trail. Right now. For real.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1) Confusing people
2) Getting confused
3) Beating dead horses (over-analyzing everything)
4) Making lists
8) Drinking quality craft beer
8) Card tricks
9) Making lists look longer by misnumbering them.
10) Failing to actually make this list longer by misnumbering it.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm there.
A girl told me the other day that she liked my curls, so maybe
that's the second thing.
"You never know just how you look through other people's eyes."
"If I ever wanted to understand me, I'd have to talk to someone
else." -Gnarls Barkley
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Pretty much any sci-fi that is also quality literature. I do
appreciate the classics as well, but my sci-fi collection is far
more extensive (those are classics too!). I've delved into fantasy
a bit as well, but I tend to find that Stephen King always thrills
me the most on that front. I loved the Dark Tower series. When I
write, it's generally speculative fiction.
1) Big Fish

It seems I'm a sucker for the superman stories (but only those in
which the supermen are truly human). I'm also a sucker for
Too many things to name. I can find something to like in almost
every genre. Actually, let me just put iTunes on party shuffle and
list a few
Bjorn and John
This doesn't mean I like everything. Most of modern country I find
unbearable (though I'm fine with the oldies), most of R&B and
hip-hop* is shit, and what the hell is easy listening?
*I don't mean all music affiliated with the hip-hop culture, just
the specific sort of dance music with insipid lyrics rapped over
All food, if made right, I find to my liking, but I can be quite
the critic. However, I am more into beer than food.
My favorite beers right now are Unibroue's Terrible, Aventinus
, Gonzo Imperial
, Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA
, Gouden Carolus Noel, and several more besides.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a minimal amount of social interaction
Maybe this question is more interesting if I interpret it to mean
"Name six things that are near and dear to my lifestyle?"
Good quality beer.
An assortment of cooking tools and utensils.
A networked computer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1) People and their feelings and problems and what I can do to help
and whether I am strong enough to help.
2) Story ideas
3) Supper or the grocery store
5) When am I going to stop horsing around and get some work done?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
trying to figure out what makes this Friday night typical.
I like to do different things with my free time, so I never know
what a weekend has in store. Moreover, I don't always save "weekend
activities" for the weekend.
Some places I might be:
-On the internet
-In the kitchen, baking
-At a pub, sampling what's on draft this week
-In a cave
-In a tent
-At the gym
-At a concert
-At a movie
-Chilling with friends

I have been known to sit in the shower for an hour or more and just
relax and think. It happens less often these days.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
1) You want me to sing you a song.
2) You like going on adventures at the spur of the moment, and will
never hesitate to do something fun (but need someone adventurous to
do it with). I am game, outdoors or in.*
3) You really like tasty beer.
4) Wanna see a trick?
5) You are the same brand of nerdy as me.
6) You are artistic but not flighty.
7) You have good control of your emotions and like to sort things
out like a civilized person.
8) You seek a good time in the ATL.
9) You want me to send you a message.
10) You have a theoretical question about maths or computer
*Adventures I enjoy:
-Walking places I've never been
-Caving (vertical or horizontal)
-Hiking (serious hiking with tents and matches, not strolling in
-Finding new (dark, craft) brews and drinking them with good food
-Driving off in the wee hours of the morning to find a dark place
to watch a meteor shower.
-Finding new and delicious restaurants
I know it's really silly to impose more constraints on an event
that never happens anyway, but you really shouldn't bother
-You can't speak without "like" or "y'know" every third word.
-You are too embarrassed to actually sneeze, but will say "choo"
after stifling one just to signal to others that it's okay to say
