Hi. I'm an INTP and never have been otherwise. I'm a tiny bit shy sometimes, but nonetheless confident and working my way back up to social butterfly.

I will tease you if I like you, but I would rather give that up entirely than be cruel. I'd much rather you teased me right back.

Also, I like to engage in random acts of weirdness. I'm the sort who has no qualms about ducking under a stranger's umbrella and striking up a conversation. Or standing uncomfortably close to someone I've just met to see if they react. Yes, this is entirely intentional and only for the humor value. Close talkers make me uncomfortable too.

If someone walks in on me on the john, I'm not embarrassed for myself. That stuff doesn't bother me at all. Nor am I embarrassed by very private topics of conversation or other things looked down upon by the Puritanical types.

Along the same lines, I am very comfortable at parties where I don't know a soul. I pop around from group to group and learn everybody's name. I've never crashed a wedding, but can see it being fun as hell.

However, when I'm not in party mode, I sometimes can't even bear to make small talk. I'm the sort who will sometimes actually answer the question "How are you?" and "What's up?" and in certain moods I expect to get meaningful answers to the same questions from others.

I am adventurous, patient, and easygoing.

Books: Pretty much any sci-fi that is also quality literature. I do appreciate the classics as well, but my sci-fi collection is far more extensive (those are classics too!). I've delved into fantasy a bit as well, but I tend to find that Stephen King always thrills me the most on that front. I loved the Dark Tower series. When I write, it's generally speculative fiction.

Food:
All food, if made right, I find to my liking, but I can be quite the critic. However, I am more into beer than food.

My favorite beers right now are Unibroue's Terrible, Aventinus, Gonzo Imperial Porter, Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA, Gulden Draak, Gouden Carolus Noel, and several more besides.

trying to figure out what makes this Friday night typical.

I like to do different things with my free time, so I never know what a weekend has in store. Moreover, I don't always save "weekend activities" for the weekend.

Some places I might be:
-On the internet
-In the kitchen, baking
-At a pub, sampling what's on draft this week
-In a cave
-In a tent
-At the gym
-At a concert
-At a movie
-Chilling with friends

I have been known to sit in the shower for an hour or more and just relax and think. It happens less often these days.

I know it's really silly to impose more constraints on an event that never happens anyway, but you really shouldn't bother if:
-You can't speak without "like" or "y'know" every third word.
-You are too embarrassed to actually sneeze, but will say "choo" after stifling one just to signal to others that it's okay to say "bless you."
