i have a degree in Computer Engineering - yep, i'm a dork - and will get either an MBA or JD sometime in the future. i'm also (attempting) writing a book... though i don't really expect it will ever be published, and maybe not finished at this pace..
i play hockey, volleyball, rugby. i was raised on hockey and have been a Red Wings fan since birth.
i like when thunderstorms roll through this city and everyone is shored up in their castles peering out their windows at the poor soul, crossing the river flowing down the avenue, with secret jealousy.

i work in NYC doing things for a media / finance company and thoroughly enjoy it, although i really like traveling and having a job puts a damper on my freedom to do that.

The first things people usually notice about me
is that i'm fantastically tall, but i at least like to pretend
that's a good thing. i mean, pretty much all girls can wear heels
around me and will always look little... sweet deal, right?

books... i don't really have a genre prejudice; i like anything
that is interesting
movies... i like comedy and movies that involve spies. that's it.

music... well i love music. right now, the killers are playing, but i like pretty much everything but old country (the ones about trucks, dogs, how his girl ran away with his dog and truck, etc) and bad gangster rap.
food... i like new experiences and old favorites. there really isn't anything i DON'T like... i'm adventurous, and i like people who share my openness.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
things that i don't understand, or things i can create.
On a typical Friday night I am
somewhere, probably beer in-hand, enjoying the company of friends
and perhaps strangers. there's also always the chance that I'm
being super-cool and relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
is that i'm on okcupid looking to meet internet people... the type
of people i honestly just don't like. i have faith that there's
some worthwhile people around here somewhere though :)
