I am short, talkative, and easily amused.
My Self-Summary
you can always find me wearing skinny jeans (outside of work, that
is). i live in them. i never leave home without my purple eyeshadow
and lipgloss. i get along with most people and make friends very
easily. i love music and have been to so many shows, i've lost
count. i'm always up for a drink. friends are really important to
me. i'm not a religious person.
i'm originally from cleveland, ohio. and no cleveland doesn't rock,
drew carey, although at least you have your "the price is right"
hosting gig :) what brought me to mke? basically, college. i went
to marquette where i quickly discovered that i wasn't very much
like the "typical" student there. (a lot of marquette students are
from the suburbs of chicago, so think cubs fans basically -- sorry
mu students, but it's true).
above all, i'm really just looking to meet any and all interesting
people.
The first things people usually notice about me
my height. yeah, i know i'm short. but isn't short just another
word for really cool? :)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
i go through phases where i read a lot and then i don't. i think
the last thing i read was "hell's angels" by hunter s. thompson,
which was very interesting. forget everything you ever heard about
them.
one of my favorite movies ever is blue velvet. i've seen a lot of
really random movies...netflix is good for that. i do love a good
horror movie. we're talking the texas chainsaw massacre or
suspiria, no saw movies for me.
i think the new atlas sound album is fantastic. i've also been
heavily listening to grizzly bear, the beta band, passion pit,
memory tapes, neon indian, dolorean, vega and miike snow lately. i
also love the velvet underground, joy division and animal
collective to name a few.
i just recently discovered casablanca's vegetarian lunch buffet.
delicious. i also recently ate at coquette cafe for the first time.
loved it!
The six things I could never do without
lip gloss, skinny jeans, string cheese, text messages,
textsfromlastnight.com and boxed wine.
On a typical Friday night I am
getting into trouble.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
this isn't really "private" in the sense this question is referring
to, but it's something that people never believe when i tell
them.
i went to an all-girls catholic high school. trust me, i know. it
was probably one of the worst decisions of my life. the reason i
did it was i didn't want to go to the same high school my parents
went to. basically, i was rebelling against the tradition, but wow,
did that backfire. usually, the response i get when i tell people
this is disbelief followed by, "you're too nice to have gone to an
all-girls school!"
