I'm smart and laid-back and silly. I'm friendly but a bit shy at first. I have a good sense of humor (doesn't everyone?) and I like to joke around. Oh, and I'm a huge nerd (of the science and math variety). :)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm working as a software developer. I have a great job that I really love. Trying to have fun for now and figuring out my way as I go.

I’m really good at

math, computer science, and other nerd stuff. I even run linux, cause I'm geeky like that. And since people always ask my distro, I run fedora on my home desktop, ubuntu at work, and mythbuntu on my mythtv.

The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my hair. It's straightened in that pic, but most of the time, it's curly (naturally so).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Don't have a favorite book, but I do love to read. One of my recent favs is "A Thousand Splendid Suns". I've been reading "What is the What" lately, but it's taken me a really long time to finish. If we're high matches, you should recommend me a book.

My favorite movies include "Garden State", "Office Space", "Fight Club", and "Chocolat".

TV shows I like include: the Simpsons, Futurama, The Daily Show, How I Met Your Mother, House, Star Trek (I've been watching TOS lately, but I grew up with TNG), South Park.

I have no taste in music. I tend to listen to alternative, pop, and country.

Mexican food is my comfort food. I also love sushi. I'm not a picky eater at all though. I'll try just about anything.. as long as it's already dead.

The six things I could never do without

My computer, chapstick (I'm addicted), good friends, my sense of humor... and I'm failing to think of the last two.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

everything. I tend to over-analyze a bit. I enjoy thinking about why the world works the way it does.

On a typical Friday night I am

out with friends or maybe home with video games or a good movie. I tend to go out more on Saturdays, since the week often leaves me a bit drained.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm kinda quirky and weird. A bit of a non-conformist. But I like that about myself, and I have no intention of changing it. :)
