Books: I tend to lean toward sci-fi and fantasy, comedy, and
non-fiction, but I am open to just about anything. Examples:
Hitchiker's Guide, LOTR, Harry Potter, Inheritance Cycle, many
books about the music history and band biographies
Movies: Star Wars, The Big Lebowski, Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction,
Evil Dead. I like all kinds of movies though (horror, comedy,
drama, action, sci-fi, indie, documentaries) .
Music: Pretty much a little bit of everything. Heavy Metal (the
whole vast netherworld), Punk, Rock n Roll, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass,
Reggae, Classical, Jazz, Funk, Soul, some Hip-Hop, some country
(mostly guys with names like Hank, Willie, or Merl), and when it
comes to electronic stuff I'm more into down-tempo, ambient,
progressive, and some industrial (four on the floor gets sooo
boring after about 15 mins)
Ghost (B.C.), Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Mercyful
Fate/King Diamond, Slayer, Emperor, The Sword, Alice in Chains,
Neurosis, Isis, Mastodon, Baroness, Kylesa, Pantera, Hatebreed,
Deicide, Skeletonwitch, Marduk, Carpathian Forest, The Misfits, The
Melvins, Bad Religion, The Clash, Ian MacKaye's bands, Scott "Wino"
Weinrich's bands, Jack White's bands, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin,
Hank 3, Beethoven, John Williams, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Miles
Davis, John Coltrane, Parliament/Funkadelic, James Brown, Umphrey's
McGee, The Grateful Dead, and lots of stuff featured in NPR's tiny
desk concerts. SOOO much music!
TV: SoA, Always Sunny, Big Bang Theory, Workaholics, Walking Dead,
Breaking Bad, Bob's Burgers, Trailer Park Boys, Parks and Rec
Food: Everything, seriously. I love food. I'll try anything once,
and I'll probably like it.
I'm really into beer, particularly micro/craft brews. However, I do
also enjoy wine and liquor. I've recently been getting into bourbon
a little bit.
I love trying new restaurants and going to breweries and brewpubs.
