My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m a massive geek.

I’m a relentless optimist.

I like thinking about the future and how good it’s going to be.

I like my music, art and comedy dark and edgy, but I know how to smile :-)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it.

Winning ...slowly.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Climbing trees; for a human anyway. I'm probably pretty poor by Orangutan standards ...and by really good I mean I haven't killed myself yet.

These days I tend to climb up climbing walls more often, it keeps me fit without visiting the gym. Did you know that treadmills used to be used as punishment in Victorian prisons? I try to avoid them.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It used to be that I looked like Jesus. Now I've got rid of my long hair and beard I don't seem to get told that any more.

I did once go to a fancy dress night at a club dressed as Jesus though. Lots of strangers started bowing down before me and one guy tried to punch me in the face, luckily he was so drunk that he couldn't do any damage, fun night.

Music: It would probably be quicker to list what I don’t like, but these days I mainly listen to indie, metal, industrial, techno, psytrance, trip-hop, weird electronica and everything in between!

If it's loud and aggressive or dark and moody then it probably works for me.

Books: Anything by Greg Egan, Alistair Reynolds, Neal Stephenson, Ian M Banks, Charles Stross or Cory Doctorow is right up my street.

TV: Recently I've been enjoying Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, Community, Homeland.

Past favourites include Spaced, Monkey Dust, Black Books and Nathan Barley.

Movies: If I thought too much about my all time greats I’d never get this written so here’s a few things I’ve watched recently that I thought were pretty good...
City of God, The Prestige, Gattaca, Rushmore, Moonrise Kingdom,
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music with bleepy noises and crunchy guitars

Books that transport me to fantastic places full of mind bending ideas

Conversation with people that make me laugh, smile and think

New things to experience for the first time

Great friends who have always got my back

Internet access to learn more about our amazing world and keep me close to the people I love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why my flying car I was promised hasn’t arrived yet!
The amazing places I’m going to go once I get it.
I might even let you drive ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Fighting crime and saving the universe?

Maybe not. More likely chatting nonsense and having a laugh with some of my nearest and dearest friends.

You’re awesome.
Like Goldilock's porridge your level of craziness is juuuust right!
Is that so much to ask?
