I am Here, there, and everywhere.
My Self-Summary
*starts beatbox*
Where's the guy who's spontaneous and free
Yet grounded enough to be heading where he wants to be
Where's the guy who can stay up for hours and talk
And isn't on this site simply looking for a good *coughs*
*record scratching*
Where's the guy who's unique and confident enough not to be a
sheep
It's not tangible things that sweep this gal off her feet
Where's the guy who's considerate enough to keep in touch
But isn't hung up on clinginess or a co-dependence and such
Where's the guy who knows how precious life is
And doesn't waste his time fighting over meaningless things
Awe yeah....break it down for me fellas!
*musical interlude*
See, I'm looking for a guy who's most certainly rare
To share life's adventures but I can't find him anywhere!
And when the candy-coated conversations are all said and done
The connection and chemistry left will tell me you're the
one.

I am a romantic with my feet on the ground and my heart in the
clouds. I am also a very sensual person. I want to be with a man
who brings out this side of my personality. I enjoy spontaneous
kisses and affection, as well as other kinds of fun...
I strive to bring passion into every aspect of my life. I’m an
optimist by default, so I tend to try to find creative solutions to
every day problems. It helps me move through life’s
growth-inspiring events.
Music is my outlet. I find the piano both inspiring and soothing. I
sometimes play for hours when I’m alone. I play a little guitar,
too. I'm a songwriter and I write instrumental music. I can be shy
about my music, but I would love to play/sing for you if you’d like
to listen.
There are a couple of mp3s at the bottom of my profile.
Do we share taste in music?
Death Cab For Cutie, Bright Eyes, Fiona Apple, Coldplay, Stars, Tom
Waits, Leonard Cohen, Mozart, Magnetic Fields, Pinback, Harry
Connick Jr, Jimmy Eat World, The Lucksmiths, Zero 7, Sufjan
Stevens, Royksopp, UNKLE, Massive Attack, Yoav, Josh Rouse, Feist,
Billy Holiday, Grandaddy, Cafe Del Mar, Postal Service, Modest
Mouse, Clem Snide, Goldfrapp, DNTEL, etc...
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is one of the most humbling
love stories I’ve ever seen. The Court Jester is one of the most
hilarious movies I’ve ever seen… and I’ve lost track of how many
times I’ve cried from laughing so hard watching it. I really
shouldn’t still find it that funny, but I do! I thank my Dad for my
crazy sense of humour.
I try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I'm what I call a Healthitarian.
There are two rules to being a Healthitarian:
1. I eat what *I* feel is healthy for me.
2. It is healthy to break rules.
I aim for Organic or local food. I enjoy creatively cooking off the
top of my head with fish or meat replacements and spices from
different cultures. I avoid most dairy, but I’ll break that rule
every so often.
You don't have to have the same diet. It would make cooking
together easier, but there are ways around that. I'm not offended
by meat. To each their own.
You have a strong sense of self. You are confident about who you
are, but open to change big and small. Not the kind of change that
is forced upon you, but a quiet change that naturally happens as
you move through life and grow as a person. You have already done
some inner work and know who you are. You enjoy what you do for a
living. While you do have a sensitive side, you are more-so a
masculine man; on your path and strong. You are comfortable being
the guiding force/energy in the relationship. You also enjoy your
significant other taking the lead. You have your own set of values,
morals, and don’t need a woman to define who you are. You are
looking for a woman to complement you, not complete you. You have a
desire to be in a relationship, not a need. You are very much
enjoying your life and want to share it with someone. You are not
afraid of commitment. You are trusting and trustworthy.
If the words above resonate with you, we're off to a good start.
What I’m doing with my life
The songs below are works in progress that I wrote and recorded in
my apartment.
"Make it Go Away" is written from a dysfunctional perspective. She
wants to do everything she can to make him happy, at her sacrifice,
hoping it will make the relationship happy.
The other piece is mostly an instrumental.
If you can't tell, all the instruments are midi. I can't really
play that many instruments, hehe.
Both mp3s below open in a new window. They may take a few minutes
to load.
