I have a wonderful husband who I met on this site. Just goes to show you that if you know what you're looking for you can find it! I'm not looking to replace or supplement him.

I'm not the most trusting person in the world, but many people seem to trust me. I am both humbled and nervous about this, but I work very hard to earn and deserve the trust of others.

I do not like to let people down, but I'm not afraid to say no when someone pushes my good nature too far. I will not be taken advantage of.

Most of the time, I really love my career. I like to help people through the difficult times of their lives and assure them that everything will be okay on the other end. I like to celebrate victories. I do not like to lose, but unfortunately that is an inevitable part of being a litigator. The attorney who tells you they have never lost a case has probably never tried one.

I am interesting, original, and mordant

I have been practicing law for almost three years now. It's not everything you see on TV, but it's a pretty great career and I am very happy in it.

I am ending sentences with prepositions even though you're not supposed to. The truth is, I have never understood why ending a sentence in a preposition is so taboo. So, I'm taking it back. Watch out grammar police!

I am also a wife and a mother. I love my family and can't imagine living any other life than the one I am right now.

I recently bought a house that needs some fixing up. When we feel like it (and sometimes when we don't), we spend a lot of time fixing it up and making it feel more like a home.

I'm really good at explaining things to people, managing money, baking, and debating.

My eyes are pretty neat. They change colors depending on what I'm wearing or my surroundings. People usually think I act older than my age and yet somehow I still get IDed all the time.

I am also fairly confident. I am not the meek woman who walks into a room and waits for something to happen or someone else to talk. If something needs to get done or if there is a crisis, I am the person people call.

Books: A Confederacy of Dunces and of course Harry Potter is my guilty pleasure. Lately I've been reading a lot of bestsellers such as books by Dean Koontz and James Patterson.

Music: Nine Inch Nails, Staind, System of a Down, Tool, Ani Difranco, and 10 Years are my 6 all time favorite bands. I also like loud angry music such as the Insane Clown Posse, Orgy, Type O Negative, Disturbed and Slipknot, soft vulnerable music like John Mayer, Maroon 5, Anna Nalick, and Dave Matthews Band, mainstream music like Green Day, The Foo Fighters, and Incubus, old school tunes like Sublime, Nirvana, Depeche Mode and Modest Mouse and old old school stuff like The Beatles, The Doors, The Moody Blues, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Bob Dylan. I'm sure I left out some great music...but you get the point.

my iPod, computer, family, friends, reading material of some type, and transportation in no particular order

Why things are the way they are. Why people do the things they do. Why one tiny thing can change the outcome of everything. Why we're "here." Why I'm "here." Why some people are evil. Basically just "why"?

At home with my family playing games and talking about abstract topics. Occasionally, I'll even have a glass of wine and cook a yummy dinner.

I never used to be a very verbally demonstrative person. Yet somehow my husband makes me go all gooey and sweet inside. I tell him things that I never would have imagined saying to any human being ever. Sometimes, I even use the dreaded "c" word . . . cuddle.

I'm not sure how I got to this point, but I think it is because he gave me the confidence to feel safe loving him.
