I'm an American, from upstate New York, I live in Raleigh, North Carolina now. I loveJazz, 60's, 70's 80's rock, Reggae, Soul, Funk, old Country music., I'm a diehard Yankee's fan, love hockey, and football too. I read a lot, my favorite authors are Kerouac, Steinbeck, Sagan, Bukowski,Matheson and Tolkien. Love the movies, my favorite movies are Casablanca, The Seven Samurai, and Somewhere in Time. My favorite color is blue. Love to cook, sip some wine, or enjoy a flavorful beer. I'm a big Star Trek fan, love Battlestar Galactica, I love Sci-fi, and Astronomy. I love to travel, camp, hike, gamble, fish, visit art museums and galleries, explore the world. I love New Orleans, Austin, Tampa, New York City, cities with charm and where creative souls reside. I love kids, wouldnt mind having a couple, but am ok without them too. I'm not a big pet guy, I like my living area clean and the less hair the better. I dont like smoking, bad for you and smelly. Treat others as you would be willing to be treated. I'm not a devout religious person, but I do have some faith, I'm not sure there is a God but if there is He or She might have initiated natural selection, and cares for us, but is not overtly active in our lives, yes maybe an Einsteinian diety. I believe Mankind must care for our planet, and the life that inhabits it, we must cutback on our consuming, and eventually move out into the solar system and beyond if we are to survive and thrive.
