My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here we go.

I left the site for a while and came back, but OkCupid wants money to change my profile name, and that ain't gonna happen. So, technically, I'm no longer 'New2NY'

I'm an actor, so my schedule can sometimes be hectic. But, if you can believe it, I'm one of the few non-vain/egotistical (no need to check the mirror every 10 minutes) ones. The first words out of my mouth aren't going to be "I'm an actor, did you see me on......" I am an open book, and I really mean that. If you ask me something, I'll give you an honest answer. I'm not big on lying, because it just takes to much effort to remember the lies you've told. "Tell the truth. It's the easiest thing to remember." ~Mamet If I got your number at the bar, I'd call you the next day, or maybe the day after that. I don't play games, so the whole, wait three days to call her thing just doesn't work. If I like you, like spending time with you and want to see you again, why would I put that off??

I've moved around a lot in the past (NJ, Atlanta, Baltimore, NJ then NY), but I'm settled now here in NY because of the whole acting thing. If someone could combine Los Angeles' location with NY's subway system and plethora of acting jobs, I'd be in heaven.

I tend to be a bit on the sarcastic side. I'm more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt than a suit. I prefer the beach over the snow. I'm an easy going, laid back adventurist. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an actor, published author, entertainment industry marketing consultant and a one day a week server at Dave and Busters in Times Square. I also play kickball in WAKA (World Amateur Kickball Association). If you don't know about this, look into it. Kickball and booze! What better way to spend a day in NY??

Despite all this, I do have a lot of free time to get together. How about it?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
BOWLING!!! I was the captain of my high school bowling team. Impressive, huh? I could never make it as a professional athlete though (bowlers are athletes, right?). Well, maybe in one of the European leagues.

I've seen every zombie movie out there, so if there is a zombie apocalypse, I am your best bet for survival!! I know how to survive all kinds of zombies! :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You tell me. If anything, it's usually "you look like someone I know."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Musical favorites are Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, Avril Lavigne (yes, you read that right) Bon Jovi (hey, I'm a Jersey boy), The Civil Wars, Blink 182, Bush, Hey Monday, Green Day and many others. I don't know a lot of names of musicians or songs, but I'm sure I've heard that song you're talking about somewhere.

Favorite authors are Vince Flynn, John Grisham and David Baldacci.

I love college football (Georgia Tech) and the NFL (49ers). Not the biggest baseball or basketball fan, but if the vendors serve beer, I'm there.

There are few things I don't really like to eat except scallops, brussel sprouts and artichokes. I just don't trust them.

Haven't been to a concert recently, but definitely like going to a good show or live music at a bar in the city. I love checking out the up-and-coming bands at dive bars.

Movies: THE CROW (only the first one with Brandon Lee though. The others are shit), Hackers, The Godfather, Rent, Fame, Footloose (the original!), The Mechanic, Coffee and Cigarettes, Hitman, Stuck on You and Iron Man/Avengers/X-Men/Green Lantern to name a few.

TV: Orphan Black, In the Flesh, Walking Dead, 24, Being Human, Game of Thrones, Rules of Engagement, Simpsons and many, many, many more. My DVR is constantly 40-50% full (What can I say, it's acting research) :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends are a given. Otherwise:

My computer
Good Music
iPhone
TV (Satellite TV, assuming I'm stranded on an island with a generator)
Coffee
DVR
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where my next vacation is going to be, which mountain I'm going to be snowboarding down this winter and when the inevitable zombie apocalypse is going to happen.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
As an actor, I've learned that nothing is typical. However, if I'm not working, I like taking in a comedy show, hang out with my friends or listening to live music, or hitting the bowling alley or pool hall.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I were on SYTYCD, I'd be voted off on the first day! Think Elaine Benes from Seinfeld, but I don't care.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
A night out for drinks and/or dinner and maybe playing pool or going bowling might be interesting. You can handle my sarcasm and give it right back. You are okay spending time with an actor whose schedule is sometimes erratic. Or, you are just an interesting person who thinks I might be interested in them. :)
