Everything in moderation, including excess

I'm a walking contradiction, equally at home in the office in a suit as I am barefoot in the park, tho I prefer the latter. I love the beach/forest/nature but sometimes nothing beats the city. I love Vegas but try my hardest to avoid conspicuous consumption. an avid reader who's also a bit of a tech nerd...you get the picture

Not a great job of describing myself, but doing so is not one of the thing I'm really good at (see below).

I'm a recent SCU grad currently working as an investment consultant in the financial district of San Francisco. I just moved up here and currently live in Glen park. I'm just trying to explore the city, meet new people and enjoy my life, all while working 50+ hours a week.

Intelligent conversation, drinking vino, numbers, reading, making things i do on accident seem purposeful, cutting through bs

Also pointing out the crazy things we as a society/species do in an irreverent and humorous manner.

Also making myself laugh, I'm pretty good at making other people laugh, but I'm really good at making myself laugh.

Reggae, hip hop, dubstep, classic rock, alternative music from the 90s/early 2000s, classical...pretty much everything though I'm not a fan of most country or pop.

Books
I absolutely love to read, as a result this might take a while so I'm going leave it for a later date. Plus my sister had stolen the majority of my good books from me, one at a time over the last decade or so. It has gotten so bad I can't remember half the books I've read. Here's a sample:
Siddhartha, On the Road, Villa Incognito, The Temptation of Innocence, When Genius Failed, Freakenomics, The Prince, Children of Men, Utopia, Heart of Darkness, Game of Thrones series, Hells Angels, The Problems of Philosophy, The Communist Manifesto...And that's just whats on my top shelf. As you can see it pretty much runs the gamut.

Not a huge movie buff but here are a few that I really enjoy:

Once again not a huge fan of television but i really enjoy the daily show, south park, game of thrones, and sons of anarchy

The meaning of life ie. why are we here where do we go and why is it so hard? (bonus points if you can name that song)

How to reconcile my passion for my industry (finance) with my desire to be a socially/environmentally responsible inhabitant of this planet.
