I'm a web developer, so obviously that means I have a nerdy streak. Yes, I'd be just as much at home hanging out at a Star Trek convention as I would going to the beachland to take in some local music, hanging out in a state park or nature preserve, or going to take in a play. It's just as much about the people you're with as it is the places you go, anyway.

I'm passionate and dedicated to the things I enjoy. I'm caring, and have a strong sense of social justice.

I try to keep good company, so I'm selective about my friends, but doggedly loyal once I let someone in.

I'm sarcastic with an acerbic wit, so if I rip on someone it just means I care.

I have two kids whom I love dearly. I work a job that I LOVE. I'm creating a startup with one of my coworkers from that job. I'm just generally living life and trying to have a good time while I do it. I'm politically active as well: I've helped start a couple PACs focusing on net neutrality and overturning citizens united, and I've been active in grass roots political organizations.

Lately I've become determined to start living life more fully. I work a desk job, and I've gotten horribly out of shape. Time to hit the gym, and start running. I'd like to go skydiving, and travel to see the world. What I really want is someone to share life's adventures with me.

That last one sounds cheesey, but it is what it is. I'm always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on for my friends.

TV & Movies:
I love scifi and fantasy. I don't watch a lot of TV (in fact I just canceled my Dish Network in favor of Netflix and Hulu), but when I do it's typically educational. Although, I'm really in to Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones right now.

Music:
I'm big in to alt rock like Cake, Keane, Carolina Liar, 5 for fighting. Punk rock is pretty good, too. Especially Irish punk rock like Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. I also have a growing fondness for electronic music like Daft Punk, Data 80, The Polish Ambassador, Ratatat, and yes... I'm starting to like dubstep too. Skrillex, Flux Pavillion, Zomboy, and The Glitch Mob, for instance.

Favorite food? I dunno... anything spicy.

Depends on the weekend. Either hanging out with my daughters playing dress up and doing crafts, or having a good time with my friends. I hang out at the bars occasionally, but I'm looking for someone would doesn't mind the bars but wants to mix it up with movies, activities, walks, maybe camping or going to playhouse square, or even just stay in together.

My dog is named after a Star Trek character and my cat is named after a wizard. Yes, I already told you I was a nerd...
