I'm just plain me. I'm a fairly average person in most ways. I believe in balance in all things; I blend optimism and pessimism, realism and idealism. My values are a blend of tradition and progress.

I seek happiness above all things. I also want to make a positive difference in the world. I like having new experiences and meeting new people. I'm friendly and open. I'd like to explore the world, when I get the chance.

I am arrogant, charismatic, and articulate.

I'm a teacher. I teach high school English, and I recently got my masters in reading at the secondary level.
I recently completed my first half marathon and am continuing to train for future events. I'm planning to run in the Zombie Run and fully intend to survive!

I'm good at bringing out the best in people, at seeing the positive in most situations, at solving problems and getting organized, and at writing long but grammatically correct sentences. I'm good at board games and video games, too. Woot!
I am not so good at it, but I really enjoy rock climbing and would love to find a regular partner.

Eyes... I have pretty blue eyes. And a great smile. I smile often and easily. Not to mention my sweet personality.

a) I love reading. That's why I'm an English teacher. I mostly enjoy contemporary literature, but I like a wide variety of books. I have a few all time favorites, including (but not limited to) The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart, Anansi Boys and Stardust by Neil Gaiman, The Town That Forgot How to Breathe by Kenneth J. Harvey, Q&A by Vikas Swarup, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, and The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. And anything by Dan Brown. Currently reading: Trapped by Jack Kilborn.

b) In general, I enjoy a wide variety of genres--comedy, horror, musical, martial arts, and suspense. Some all-time favorites are Slumdog Millionaire and the Saw series. Most recent movie I saw in theaters: Oz the Great and Powerful.

c) I like a variety of music, and I love concerts! My current favorites are Gym Class Heroes and B.o.B.. Most recent concert: The Weenie Roast (featuring a variety of bands, but most importantly, Eve 6).

d) I like most foods except seafood. I love spicy foods, especially Indian and Thai.

e) TV: Top Chef, Project Runway, The Walking Dead, The Following

f) Video Games: Any RPGs. I grew up on Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games. I love games like Skyrim and Dragon Age. Currently playing: Magna Carta 2
